  3. Not real familiar with that one. Getting burned out by the time that rolled around. Different ecoregions mean different soil types. Collin is Blackland Prairie with clay soil. Grapevine and a lot of D/FW is more Crosstimbers with a more sandy loam. Blackland expand and contracts much more with the weather and washes away without vegetation. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. Sinyard didn’t do anything illegal but he is a dick. He did admit the Stumpy was based on the Ritchey(it was)but his original builder, Tim Neenan, still claims it was based on a design of his. He has a long history of suing little guys for pretty questionable various infringements. I don’t think the guys have any real animosity, at least anymore. The have all done OK. Probably wish they would have had the vision/drive that Mike did. Have met Breeze, Ritchey and Kelly on a few occasions as well as Jacquie Phelan( she flashed the crowd at the finish line at Lajitas one year) and they are cool as hell. Especially Kelly. 19. Not sure but it sure sounds different than getting a swab from your friendly local healthcare worker. People wearing full facemasks and hazmat suits grab you at the terminal or your state run hotel where you are confined to your room and given a one way entry key that won’t work again. Food is delivered to your door. They don't know if the people are qualified and don't trust the test results and are very wary of ending up in a Chinese hospital full of known carriers. She had three vastly different temp readings using three different thermometers. She was tested in Singapore and quarantined for 15 hours before cleared. Then they want to do it all over again in Shenzhen and Japan.

  21. Sis in Law just got back from her second trip to China flying freight since this shit started. This was written by a coworker: “Let me say at this point that our treatment in Europe was quite different from the treatment of my coworkers in Asia, particularly those choosing (yes, it’s optional) to fly through China. Our normally nice hotels have been replaced in China with government-commandeered travelers hotels that have probably never seen a western guest. In other places we stay in hotels that are internal to the airport, transit hotels, where you don’t clear customs and theoretically don’t enter the country. In a couple of places, Shenzhen and Dubai for example, they have instituted nasal swabbing tests which have been described as a footlong Q-tip inserted in your nasal passage until it reaches your brain. It’s brought grown men to tears and crews are now standing up to the treatment, refusing to take the test and being put on the next plane out of town, although reportedly they have been threatened with having their passports confiscated, visas canceled, and criminal action against them in China. We have crews flying in and out of China twice a day and they will be subjected to these tests each time, even if they are just passing through. You really have no assurance over the training of the person administering the test. I don’t blame people that just say no.” https://www.avweb.com/insider/flying-freight-in-the-corona-crisis/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Considered that but: “In the United States it is illegal to take, kill, or possess black vultures without a permit and violation of the law is punishable by a fine of up to US$15,000 and imprisonment of up to six months.” Anyway, may be useful if me or my neighbors drop dead on the sidewalk.
