  1. If all the misogynistic assholes on here like a movie with a feminist theme then it must be a great movie. I’m in.
  2. If OP was looking for a careers that consist of solely tertiary roles then you’re correct. But he didn’t. Just because someone is now a leading man/woman now doesn’t mean they weren’t a great character actor at some point in time. Anyway, I didn’t post those lists as a statement, more for reference points.

  5. That’s a pretty good list. Cazale might be the GOAT character actor
  6. Nice. Meyers would have either dribbled it in or throw to third.
  7. This made me go look for his minor league splits. Baseball reference has them on year by year basis but not cumulative. I didn’t want to do the work to add it all up but a quick glance confirms what you’re saying. He was fine against LHP in the minors.
  8. If he uses his girlfriend as hostess, I’m not sure if that would help or hurt. She’s hot and all but probably a little too “exotic” for CS.
  9. I get sitting Diaz vs a LHP, don’t really understand why JV likes Dubon in CF but if that what he want then fine, I guess. But playing Kessinger is inexcusable.

    Below Deck

The entire BD franchise has gotten stale. Sailing was the only one I still liked but this last season might have been the tipping point for that one. Kind of reminds me of my journey with The Deadliest Catch. At first I never missed it which slowly reduced to nada.
  11. ^^^^ I’ve never heard a ball sack called a glove.
  12. They did that a lot last year. Set it up so Javier gets most of the extra days. He’s been pitching better on more rest.
  13. Looking at the schedule, I’d bet we’ll use a 6 man until September when we have every Thursday off.
  14. JV said today he thinks he’s starting Saturday. But the club hasn’t made it official.
  15. He had 32 PAs with the big club. Was pretty good with their AAA club
  16. Spotrac has him with only .167 years of service time. But he’s almost 32 years old and was drafted in 2009.
  17. I’ve never been able to find a site that gives reliable option information on players. Anyone know of such a place?
  18. Germàn loves him some abuse. Alcohol, girlfriend, grip-enhancing substance, hitters
  19. Not even for carpal tunnel syndrome?
  20. This ump’s zone blows. He’s already missed 5-6 calls. For both sides
