This is one of my biggest things whenever the hand wringing starts over guys portaling. I want players at Texas that want to be at Texas. And there isn't a shortage of them. Including our current QB and our last QB (the Ohio State mistake notwithstanding). I don't care how good you are - you want to go play for OU? Bye.
Just watched. I will say that there are a ton of movies that I can't even get through and turn off early and I got through this one so it has that going for it. It was entertaining enough but ultimately kind of a huge fucking mess to where I'm not really sure what the point was? Agree with whoever said none of the characters were likeable. Maybe that was the point? Pattinson can act. That's basically all I got from it. Pretty big miss from Joon-ho but he may have just picked the wrong source material.
Damn. Spurs need to step their game up. Unless we have something better that I haven't seen. That '18 team is up there with the best teams that didn't win the title. Y'all would have smoked Cleveland.
Y'all were trash from 3... again (Durant was part of the problem there, too)... and you won. You take those wins in the NBA in 2026. Amen is a phenomenal player he just doesn't understand what the offense needs a lot of the time - and goes through stretches that are too long where he isn't scoring or diming. I think it will come around for him. Even when he misses I like when he gets in his bag and isos and tries to score from the midrange. He just needs to pick his spots better (if not more often) and figure out what the team needs and when. He had a couple really bad takes in like three possessions to end the 3Q that were suboptimal and had that brutal missed layup in crunch-time. I don't know how many turnovers there were with guys misreading Durant and feeding him shitty passes but it was a lot. Assuming the rotation stays healthy you would hope that that improves as the season goes on. Sheppard is still super raw but god damn is he talented and really smart on O. I kind of worry about his length on defense - he'll have to keep scrapping on that end to stay on the floor at times but he seems game. Your superpower appears to be Adams and Sengun just beating the shit out of teams and everyone else doing the rest. Any win missing one of those guys or both is a good win. Long season and we'll see what happens but y'all have been a blast to watch so far and I love seeing Durant on a team with an actual coach and roster. He seems happy. Thank you for having me and apologies if I post too much in here but Durant is my favorite athlete of all-time. I try and keep it Kosher and let y'all do your thing.
You know exactly what you're doing and it shits up the basketball board. Think you've been temp-banned for it multiple times now already. Everyone in this thread is here to make fun of Shaka Smart - outside of the virtue signalers who I guess were cool with him wasting six years of Texas basketball. You're welcome to goad any of the other posters here that still like to see the guy fail - you don't need to keep attacking the same poster over and over again. You know why Derka hates him so much? Because he cares more about Texas basketball than anyone here. Leave him alone or go fuck with him on one of the quarterback threads that I don't care about.
That Phoenix team is legit. Houston didn't play great but PHO almost caught them tonight after beating OKC last night and then travelling. Think they found a good coach and Brooks has really brought some grit and energy to the team. I mean I think they're better than this shitass Lakers team. Also it's ridiculous how year-over-year the West turns into a bloodbath. It's been the better conference since Jordan retired the first time and we're closing on that being 30 years ago.
Reed had 17 turnovers in the first quarter and you're only down 4 so not terrible. Also they need to stop the game until they figure the clock out. This is insane.
