  1. Amazon Prime now has ads as well...unless you're willing to pay a little more. Paying for something once and being done with it seems to be a thing of the past. Even carmakers like Tesla and BMW are wanting either extra money to unlock features already built into the car, or subscription service for certain things like remote start, wifi etc
  2. *porpoises And I also saw the article stating us and bloU are bound by SEC rules now.
  3. A little redecorating inside (and deer head removal) and I could dig this place. That is if it werent in the middle of buttfuck nowhere Oklahoma. If it has to be in that godforsaken state...Southeast corner would be preferable.
  4. Ya'll are fretting about stuff that won't matter about 4 games into the season. How many times have we wondered pre-season who would be the starting tailback only to either lament our lack of depth or sigh with relief we have a deep RB room? It's a position that virtually guarantees heavy contact with most touches...we'll need several backs to get through the season. Who trots out for the first play of the first game is irrelevant.
  5. It's spring in Texas, rain could pop up and be gone and pop up again... all in the same day. Or it could be a beautiful sunny day.
  6. If it was good on good it might potentially be an issue, but that's something we'll only know in an actual game. Our O-line should be dominant, and it's no secret D-line is lacking live fire experience in the middle.
  7. Also doesn't matter how loaded they get if they can't whoop and squeeze their balls from the top of the pile. Not only were previous bonfires built by engineer wannabes who didn't know shit about fuck, they did it while at least 3.5 sheets to the wind.
  8. [emoji869]EBB!
  9. Potential owners need a couple cases of Barkeepers Friend on hand. Unless of course you don't mind the pseudo rusty look.
  10. You quoted before I edited, I think Mizzery or OU have a better chance than aggy. Even if something crazy happens and they do get in, the no depth thing will bite them in the ass.
  11. They are convinced with a 12 team playoff they can be the 3rd team from the SEC to sneak in. Tbh with their Charmin soft schedule (and a lot of luck) they do have an outside shot at it. Personally I think even Mizz or BloU have a better chance than aggy, but don't tell them that.
  12. That's great to hear, but he hasn't been here long enough to prove that yet, and a Poly already on the team transferring out (just speculation, nobody knows for sure) isn't a good start to the Poly-pipeline. I never understood why we don't do better at Euless Trinity, (Patrick Vahe is the only one, not the greatest player ever) but tbh their football program has faded in recent years.
  13. That's great, what the fucking holy hell are you talking about? Someone (not me if you still have functioning braincells) puts Akana on the possible transfer list, I imply I'd rather he stay and progress and then you say he has a Poly coach and therefore we're suddenly going to clean up recruiting that demographic? I hope you're right, but Nansen has only been here a hot minute and those other schools have established pipelines
  14. TSRH^^ But if Sark keeps recruiting at a high level it won't matter as much.
  15. Guess you could add the moon landing to that, not sure it was live though. Wasn't the Branch Davidian siege in Waco televised? I watched a doccie and it included tons of TV footage.
  16. Since he hasn't played a single down and I haven't observed practice, really can't say. It's probably more about the strong Poly ties with me than Akana himself, I don't like USC, BYU, Utah and Oregon pretty much cornering the market on the best Islander/Islander heritage players.
  17. I see some quality depth on that list, nothing more than that. I will say I was hoping Akana would become a beast, but if we have too many LB's/edge rushers with better skill sets, so be it.
  18. Did he still get a vote up to the '24 Heisman? I could be thinking of someone else, but I thought they completely separated from OJ.
  19. Not funny, just a throw away observation, but thanks for outing yourself even though I wasn't targeting you personally with that comment[emoji23]
  20. I think YOU may be the only person on the Internet that would translate anything I said at any point to mean "I think Bo can get his son drafted" You seem to have a hard-on for anything I post lately, nothing I can do about that but say "glad I could help you get your rocks off" lmfao
  21. Nuance and innuendo don't compute in your brain very well do they. I imply it would take a miracle to get his kid drafted (if that was the main reason he left as reported by many) yet you throw me the kids entire history and say I'm the one saying dumb things? Ok chief, I'm sitting here in my office seriously trying not to bust out laughing, congrats.
  22. I don't take yours or anyone else's posts personally. If I did I would have run away like several thin skins have done...and long before the Shag became Surly.
  23. My original post was in jest more than anything else, but I forgot this place is filled will humorless aspies who fixate only on stats and facts...and can't abide any speculation. Btw, I already acknowledged the fact I don't think helicopter parents made the difference in his leaving, but could have made the decision easier if said parents and player are above and beyond the usual delusion. I know coaches have to say all sorts of things to land a commit, and sometimes backing up the living room talk just isn't possible...but some parents (and/or player) will never get that through their skull and would rather trash the coach (or coaches) and school. I will say this: if Bo gets his kid drafted then he is more of a DL witch than I ever realized.
  24. Your last part says it all, both of us are speculating. I'd also speculate that dealing with the Mitchell family is probably an easier task than getting his own son significant PT at LSU, or enough to get him noticed by the NFL.
  25. Bo's been coaching long enough I'm sure he's dealt with a few, but all it takes is one really persistent and annoying one to drive you crazy. Ever coached little league baseball, flag football, youth basketball etc? Take that and amp it up a few levels when a family is dependent on you to get their son in the NFL as a cash cow for the family.
