  1. Which he hopefully shares with the South Alabama coach, but I digress
  2. The only concern is he couldn't find much playtime in a struggling secondary. Maybe he goes on to have a good career, who knows, but for whatever reason it didn't happen here.
  3. You aren't alone in that. I live roughly 30 miles from Dallas and only go there when I have good reason. Jerry World is in Arlington though, not even really bordering Dallas since you still have Grand Prairie (or Irving depending on which way you go) as a buffer.
  4. That answers it, thanks. Tossing in someone literally straight out of HS would be a bad idea anyway...and slap in the face of the 3rd and 4th stringers who have been with the team for a while.
  5. Yes, the stormtrooper look is back to being a strength, not a curse like it was under Charlie and Turtle Tom. And was also the uniform used in the greatest CFB game ever, so..
  6. That's the biggest reason he transferred from Georgia, and yeah I'd be surprised (but happy) if he comes back.
  7. Can they actually suit out and be available for the bowl game? Not that it would be a good idea, (outside of Tceh style blowout) just curious.
  8. In their mind a media person simply contacting a player to see if they are thinking of entering the portal counts as pushing them in the motherfucker. aggy logic, don't spend too much time trying to make sense of it.
  9. It would be easy to excuse that as a 5 year old suit that he "outgrew", but he was never tall enough for those pants. Looks like he stopped at JC Penney on the way to the aggy plane and just grabbed whatever they had that wasnt too small or too large.
  10. May be just me, but the Cotton Bowl being old and by far the shabbiest stadium either team will play in kinda adds to the charm. Don't get me wrong, some work needs to be done..but idc if the stands are held in place with glued together Fletchers sticks as long as the game remains there and the state Fair is open for business at the time the game is played.
  11. CFB would be a better product if more independently wealthy guys took up coaching as a hobby. Or not. But who knows?
  12. Move it away from the Cotton Bowl/fair and it's simply another conference game in a shitty NFL environment, and home and home would be even less special. I don't get why some people can't understand this.
  13. I don't know if this is true or not, but I read somewhere a few years back that State Fair vendors depend on the inflated crowd numbers that particular weekend and some wouldn't be financially be able to show up if the game goes away from the Cotton Bowl. Of course most of these people have other business ventures the rest of the year, but some of them make the bulk of their yearly money during the state fair weeks.
  14. May just be me, but gimme Thujone style Ms paint over borderline creepy AI graphic art any day. Having said that, spot on lol
  15. Their homes are more mobile than their own bloated selves, so yes.
  16. Not long enough, I'll probably still be alive when it runs out. If Chokelahoma wasnt perpetually broke we could go halfsies on any renovations the city of Dallas is either too poor or inept to make. That aside, the game must be played at the original Cotton Bowl (even if crumbling to dust) while the State Fair is open to the public. Everything else is just minor details.
  17. Elko gonna put out that fire, grease the wheels and get that thing climbing up again before you know it.
  18. Looch may be full of shit but he's been doing this con long enough to know what works. Some TXHSFB coaches (maybe even a few players) will see that tweet and feel like they're somehow behind if they haven't jumped on the Collin Klein bandwagon. At least aggy didn't hire someone from the Northeast none of them have ever heard of.
  19. They figured it out years ago but don't care as long as he keeps feeding them the raw, uncut hopium they need. That "natty" is always just around the corner. A few minor details to work out, but they have top men on the job. Top. Men.
  20. My thumb is sore from scrolling to find Washington
  21. He confused us for that other school that uses Texas in their name..Agricultural & Maintenace
  22. I thought there was a whiff of sheep dung in this thread.
  23. Cant lose, aggy stratagery
  24. The way things have been going it would be iffy even without the portal thing.
  25. This won't be a "been there done that" year for the Gumps. They know they are fortunate to be in at all, and with little Nicky's age they can't take championships for granted anymore.
