  1. And that appears to be in line with ISDs of that size if not a little bit low.
  2. Superintendent with $870k comp to oversee 1000 charter students. I would imagine our inability to efficiently run anything governmental would make this grift look like child’s play when it comes to subsidizing private schools with vouchers. Everyday I’m more convinced we are devolving into a third world country full of amoral nepotistic greed and corruption. The article is not really CR but just generally a massive failure of our educational structure.
  3. How can you be that bad at your job in a major conference?
  4. True. RT should have paired him with a capable big. Shed with lighter and faster feet could play more like a four/five.
  5. Shed is good for a few of the plays then reverts back to getting caught flat footed on defense and generally pushed around on the floor.
  6. I gotta clean the sock lint from the corners of my toenails. Might tune in once I’m finished.
  7. Well that is Lubbock in the sky around your office. And nice humblebrag btw.
  8. Worst drought area in the state. Not a good mixture.
  9. Planning a trip late summer. I can't find anything on the Caverns website except the guided tours eliminating some morning tour slots. What is your source?
  10. Imported case in infant, not part of the panhandle debacle and rest of family vaxxed.
  11. So like having the ball on the one yard line with four tries to get it across the goal line?
  12. No, it was false alarm but they doubled down by now calling it Rubella which unless confirmed by testing, I call BS as well. I’m not sure the administration at that school district could handle an outbreak of lice considering the way they are handling this.
  13. Ironically it’s the same face I make watching his team attempt an offensive set or play interior defense.
  14. One of the two worst ICU deaths I’ve seen was a liver failure (from alcoholism). The guy had completely shut down his liver and basically third spaced blood and fluid into his gut and extremities until I thought his abdomen was going to explode. Dude was bleeding out of every orrifice and ended up “exploding” enough red blood cells to wack his potassium into causing cardiac arrest. Miserable way to die although his ammonia levels had put him into lala land anyway.
  15. Coverage rates for the two dose series are about 93% of the US population and the two dose regimen shows a 97% efficacy at preventing measels.
  16. Anti vax is one of the few things that traditionally unites the far left and the far right.
  17. Props to that SWA pilot. Hell of a power to go around move.
  18. No no, Shed is going to put a couple of good sequences together to make up for 30+ minutes of soft, infuriating play and someone on here will tell you how wrong you are.
  19. Balanced view on this crash. Good view points along with our resident aviation experts.
  20. Upper Extremity DVTs rarely travel to the lungs. But if there is an underlying hypercoaguable systemic issue then you have to worry about clots forming elsewhere. He most likely has a clot from repetitive strain of his thoracic outlet (vessles and nerves that pass from neck through the shoulder). He might need surgery in addition to anticoagulant.
  21. Yeah recency bias on my part. Kaluma has a lot of intangibles.
