  1. Beretta Storm Px4. 3 sizes, modular backstrap and easy to rack slide. My wife tried several of the options listed above and the Beretta was by far the easiest slide to manage. She ended up with the compact version.
  2. This right here. The intelligent move is to give the place back when you have plenty of laps to challenge Oscar for the lead. The team has allowed clean racing with these two this season.
  3. Via Ferrata if you have one close enough. It really doesn't require a ton of muscle strength or skill, but super fun. The 70+ y/o may elect to pass if not in shape, but everyone else should be fine. Definitely do the guided tour though. https://www.coloradoviaferrata.com/about-via-ferratas/colorado-via-ferratas/
  4. Not terrible.
  5. Assuming you replace like for like parts, a team is allowed to repair damage.
  6. Swiss made, well constructed. They started with a coaxial cable connection in version 1 and moved to a magnetically held auto connect version. Apparently it was stable and well secured. Someone here linked it a few years ago. They initially had pretty good support from several aftermarket pickup companies. You could even get the exterior structure separately and add any pickup to it that you wanted. As an engineering nerd, I found it pretty cool. You could go from single coils to Pearly Gates in a few seconds.
  7. That's where I felt Relish developed a pretty cool system to quickly swap out pickups in the same guitar. Too bad they could not make a go of it.
  8. All of the above, but also the Blackstar ID:core is a pretty awesome amp that gets overlooked.
  9. http://www.4runnerhouse.com Joey owns/runs this shop in DFW. Tons of OEM parts and is a good guy. He took care of my 93 pickup when I had it.
  10. Weekend project time. My son is back from college and he has decided he wants to start playing guitar again. We pulled out his guitar that he hasn't really touched since late Jr High/Early HS. Plan to clean up the scratchy pots, good cleaning and some new strings etc.
  11. I don’t care what anyone chooses to buy or their rationale for doing so, but an Audi fan shitting on Toyota reliability? You know what also isn’t alive and well? Any ‘90s Audi.
  12. Me. I love it. I have the Standard which is the mid tier version. Carbon reinforced neck, chambered mahogany body and maple cap, SS frets and the P90's sound great. It's a lot of guitar for $700
  13. Get a real job you grifting street performer! You'll never make a living playing music.....
  14. noharleyyet is too kind. He was awesome to work with. I am especially appreciative that he did not murder me and simply steal the guitar like the standard Craigslist buyer. Next time, I will definitely take you up on lunch! Glad the Bird remains in the pron family.
  15. Don’t kink shame me!
  16. I admittedly have eclectic tastes. But if I’m getting a super Strat, it’s this one.
  17. Yuki's dive bomb on Danny Ric earlier this season put the final nail in the coffin for him at RB. It's one thing to be an ass on the radio, but almost damaging both cars post race because you don't like team orders will not play well at the big team.
  18. I’m considering this exact swap for my 3.6R Outback too. Hopefully, I can get a few more years out of the Subaru first though
  19. Thanks everyone. I only need to carry one bike, so the single 1-Up made the most sense. I can always order an add-on tray if I ever end up needing a second slot. Hopefully it will arrive by the weekend.
  20. I've been borrowing a friends bike for a while. Finally stepped up and grabbed one for myself. Trek is clearing out the old models, so I was able to snag a pretty good deal on a Roscoe 8 Talk to me about hitch mounts. I'm liking the 1-Up but it's kinda spendy. Are there better options or is this a buy once cry once scenario?
  21. Another option would be the Fender case rack. You can adjust the bottom cushions to whatever width you need. I'm not sure if the upper portion is tall enough to accommodate your cello. They come in 3, 5, or 7 slot models. Tweed or Tolex outer finish. Road runner makes a less expensive version. I have one and like it. But my cat sleeps in it.
  22. Not sure about the guitar amps, but I have an Orange Crush Bass amp that I absolutely love. I sold every other bass amp, because it is so versatile.
  23. It also has some pretty nice bass settings for home practice. It's super easy to set up favorites in the app
  24. Get whatever wearable she is actually willing to use and make sure she knows how to use it to call for help. Be kind but persistent on getting her to agree to use one. The Apple watch is more "hip" but she has to know how to use the SOS function and remember to charge the watch. Depending on how open to new tech your MIL is, that can be a barrier.
