Ewers is probably overhyped sure, but he's shown incredible touch and ability to make some really difficult throws look easy. That's a recipe for success in college and with development, success in the NFL. He's also shown the tendency to make off balance throws simply because he knows he can, and isn't anything special while running the ball. Recruiting is about finding the special tools others don't have and projecting forward on those strengths. Klubnik showed tonight he has a strong stride, above average change of direction... And with the throw game pretty consistent placement on short passes, ability to rifle in intermediate 15 yard passes... But didn't display anything truly special beyond that, imo. Ewers above Klubnik any day and twice on Sunday to build a college team around. He's got enough weaknesses to his game to drop down to top 15 nationwide though and still be fair.
