That's what seems to happen about 90% of the time with forecasting in Harris County.

Our family spent a weekend in a rental at 2700 Flite Acres Road in Wimberley in 2015 during spring break. We had the grand kids with us and I've always wondered if that rental home was washed away. Looking on Google Earth I can't really tell.

  5. Apparently all three are Baylor Law grads
  6. The photo I posted is my house. It would be rather cold if it were some random office building. I was trying to tie my flags to the stadium and its meaning.
  7. Darrell K Royal -Texas Memorial Stadium Every time I return I give thanks to both. Let Freedom Ring this Memorial Day weekend.
  8. The Colonel at KFC picked them up earlier
  9. https://twitter.com/RadioFreeTom/status/1263836914261557254?s=20 A misbegotten, warped freedom obsession is killing us.
  10. This guy in Houston is searching mailboxes for government checks https://nextdoor.com/post/148584625?init_source=copy_link_share
  11. As we come out of our caves into public spaces I have noted my Robo Calls have greatly increased this week. I've had a rather pleasant two months being relative free from "we noted you inquired about..." or "your car warranty is in danger..." . I thought all these odd balls worked from home anyway so I have no explanation why the greatly ceased and have suddenly increased...Maybe the sponsor of the Robo Call couldn't get into their office to take your "calls"? Gawd I hate whoever is playing with my iphone
  12. Lots of concrete has been put down in the past thirty years
  13. I haven't watch the last episode of S3 but will tonight. I was curious how many on here actually believed of mob violence in middle America and of the history of the KC Mob? Back in the 50's my family took us to visit relatives in KC and we would go to a club where we were told it was owned by the mob. All of that got its roots in Prohibition. This show got me thinking about the mob connections and sure enough suspicions were probably true. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Pendergast LOL at the mention of Truman.
  14. And the Mariott was an eyebrow raiser too. I mean they serve alcohol gulp gulp. I seriously doubt they do in the KSA.
  15. I made the mistake of getting out of most of my equities (funds excluded) at the lowest of the low. Looking forward I think my biggest mistake was underestimating the FED to do whatever it takes to juice the casino...economics be damned.
  16. The NYCasino is about to open even higher based on vaccine rumors.
  17. Sorta. She showed up on our doorstep when we lived in Louisiana about 9 years ago. Vet said "terrier" and a little Pit. When walking several people have asked is she is JR. She weighs about 40 pounds which seems a little heavy for just JR. Best dog we've ever owned.
  18. @Beau, Abby...So sorry. Nothing worse than having to put your best friend down. I've done it more times than I like to think about but the next one that comes along helps to somewhat ease your pain of today. Memories will always be your friend.
  19. I was there for both of those games
  20. First dog we’ve ever owned that sleeps through thunderstorms. Our previous five or six went into frenzy at first clap of thunder. She could care less.
  21. When I worked for Good Hope refining the asshole owner would have called you in, told you to help pack the boxes for "storage" and then fire you when you completed the job. Complete with security walking you out the door.
  22. That's the way I'm trading the markets until I see which way the tug o' war between Fed stimulus props vs unemployment shakes out one way or another in 4th qtr.
  23. H.G. Wells' The Time Machine
  24. understand Accounting and be able to read financial statements. I'm aware of on line aids like Investopedia, etc. but what I would really like to do is take online accounting courses from 101 through the most complicated without trying to obtain a degree. From what I have seen most places want your online work to be directed to obtaining a degree. Does anyone know where why I can just log in and begin taking accounting courses and not other electives?
