  5. Maybe one day they’ll tear up the fountain at the north entrance that only worked the first week it was open and do something cool like a walk of fame in that big ass plaza.
  6. First suggestion is drop $50k on one of these. It can also tell you if you’re having a heart attack. Alas, no automated BJ attachment (yet). Now that I’ve had my laugh; did you read the instructions on how to use yours? Most have a specific posture they want (standing or seated), and then they also have specific instructions for where to put your arm that is wearing the cuff (across your chest, lying flat and level with your heart, etc), as well as which arm to use. There’s really not a good automated one on the market that I’ve ever seen. They’re almost always 10-20 points off even when used correctly. If I had a dollar for everytime I had an LVN tell me their patient was 76/48; only for me to get one of 98/70, I’d be on a beach earning 20%. If you have a friend or family member that owns a stethoscope and manual BP cuff, that is the most accurate reading.
  7. He wasn’t before this episode, but one could argue he probably should have been. Living in Bell county definitely doesn’t help the problem. Not everyone responds as desired to certain BP meds depending on the root cause of the hypertension, that’s why there’s so many different ones (ACE inhibitor vs Beta Blocker vs Calcium Channel blocker). 135/85 is better than 145/90, but it’s not ideal. If you are using one of those flimsy battery powered wrist cuffs from Walgreen’s I wouldn’t put a lot of faith in that being an accurate reading. If you are getting a proper BP reading and it is consistently in the range you listed, even with medication, I would ask your doctor about either increasing your dose or trying a different med.
  8. Did I just read someone having a stroke in real time?
  9. I’m not sure who that says more about, 247 or Johntay
  10. It probably haunts everyone in the bedroom

  17. Too peopley up there for me. Westcliffe was good enough for John Amos, and the views of the Sangres is incredible. I highly recommend it.
  18. Site survey in the daylight via drone
  19. Burn victims don’t typically die right away. Give it a few more days.

  21. 1. Oxygen tanks don’t cause fire 2.I’ve never heard of any medical equipment causing a fire onboard an aircraft. Never. 3. You think that a plane coming down thirty seconds after takeoff wasn’t due to mechanical failure/malfunction, but most likely one of the two extraordinarily implausible scenarios you posited above?
  22. Seeing it went down 30 seconds after takeoff
  23. He was dead, he just didn’t know it yet. Lifeteam 25 crashed on final at United Regional. The flight nurse herself was on fire as our seat is on the fuel tank in the 206. She screamed at the ER staff to leave her while they were pulling her away. She died 4 days later.
  24. 10 for $1 at Fiesta
