  1. Went out to eat with the wife and we were talking about the EJ tour, I thought he was pretty much done with the states (I'd looked into going last fall), almost bought 2 tix for Tulsa next Sat, $850 for two, wife even agreed that was too much. Checked some more, end of spring break, Mar 15 in Jacksonville, 2 tix $580, pulled the trigger. Will be a nice road trip, last chance to see Elton, never seen him before, just couldn't pass it up.
  2. BTW, the link above appears to have some audio overdubbed from the official album and bootlegs. Here's a version with the original audio, for authenticity: https://archive.org/details/LetItBe_724 There might be other better versions, these were just the first 2 I came across...
  3. Ken Mansfield, former U.S. manager for Apple Records, recalls watching the momentous 1969 rooftop performance mere feet from the Fab Four https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/beatles-last-concert-rooftop-ken-mansfield-interview-783884/ 2003 article about the recovery of the Nagra tapes I mentioned above, source of hundreds of bootlegs and which will surely be integrated into the new film https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/the-beatles-buried-treasure-237925/

  5. Watching the original Let It Be right now, it's so dark, hopefully they can lighten it up some. And I know what broke up the Beatles, the hours (and I mean HOURS) spent on Maxwell's fucking Silver Hammer, what a load. Seriously though, will be curious to see the footage Peter Jackson can dig up of them all having fun together, because in the original they are definitely not.
  6. Yeah, saw that yesterday, wasn't sure where to post it. Guess I'll dig out my 14 DVDs worth of Nagra reel audio and get ready!
  7. Listening to a stream right now on KOOP 91.7, the Eggmen are at the Austin Library recreating the rooftop concert. Well, that part's already done, now they're just playing other 68-69 era songs, good stuff.
  8. Apocalypse Now Monty Python & the Holy Grail Dr. Strangelove The Bridge Over the River Kwai The Grapes of Wrath Rear Window The Wild Bunch Bonnie & Clyde No Country For Old Men The Conversation
  9. One thing I did to help me see more posts was to go to the Traces page, click on "Notifications", then select "See First". Any recent posts will then be at the top of your newsfeed when ever you log in. It's not perfect, but it at least reminds me about the page, which I will then click on and go view the posts I missed.
  10. Get your checkbooks out... Rolling Stone article
  11. You can say "go fuck yourself" on network tv now? I realize it's late, and I know Better Call Saul and other shows do, but still, network tv? I know, I'm an olds...
  12. Sadly, just a click bait article, quote is from 2017 article... LINK

  14. Will always hear Craig Way in my head: ONEIDA - JEROD - MCCLINTOCK! Ryan Nunez is another one, big hype, never did much.
  15. I think this was posted on the shag, but maybe not, great cover of Atom Heart Mother.

  19. Apparently this is a thing, I think she does it better.
  20. yeah, but he's definitely too lazy to keep creating socks, and honestly, doesn't have the, hmmm, "wit" the Ray Pugh ass has. mofo is as subtle as a sledgehammer. Straight to the hildabeast/libtard/feminazi schtick he'd go, too simple for anything else.
  21. There's no fucking way, that asshole is too lazy to post on his "own" site, he sure as hell ain't coming over here, he's already been run out on a rail once. No, he's happy to pop in over there every few days and drop a load in the hildabeast or sam sucks thread, then waddle back off to neverland. And yeah, wolfie posted in the pathetic game thread (I think) basically, "thanks, it's been real", I guess he's gone back into hibernation until August or so. Sure worked out good for ol' Kev.
  22. Ahem... Hello fellow American-Texans. No, I am not a Czechoslovakian, I am white like you. From Weest, Texas I am. Would you like a coalachee, is good, has sausage in.
