  15. If you are going to drive to San Antonio then just hit up Tellez. I have had both Delia's and Tellez. Both solid but Delia's pork is a little bland for my taste. Tellez is a much better tamale in my opinion. Got 3 dozen this morning.
  16. Tellez in San Antonio is the go to spot. I like the meat to masa ratio better than Ruben's. Both are good, I prefer Tellez.

  18. I will be frying the turkey this year. Going to inject. In surly's opionion should I use Zataran's creole butter, Tony Chachere's cajun butter, or something else. Any advice is appreciated.

  21. I like the smoker. It's The Home Depot brand that used to be New Braunfels smokers than Oklahoma Joe then next grill. It's all the same stuff just rebranded. Got this one on sale when river grill change their name to next grill. Can't beat it for the price. Metal is a little thin and gotta stay on top of the temp but works well.
