  1. Props to @Constant for taking the jabs in stride yesterday but keeping receipts and coming back hard today. This is how it’s supposed to be done as a fan of a different university on this board. Even when that university and its fans is primarily full of meth smoking, sister fucking, trailer living, flat-earth believing douches. I personally think it’s too early to close the book on venables or this red flag ridden safety, so I’ll be interested in seeing if OU can keep it within 40 next year in Dallas.
  2. Maybe he wants him for his recruiting prowess? Surely he's been credited with recruiting at least one of those USC commits/signees, right? Right...... Oh, its 0 actually? Yikes
  3. Yes... YESSSSS You had like 90% of the board covered until that last little, tiny caveat.
  4. I actually liked big Samu as a recruit, but he’s not quite to the level of a Texas or A&M DL recruit right now given the way they’re recruiting. He dominated at the few camps he was at and can move extremely well for his size. He would have done well to commit to a Baylor, TCU, SMU type school back before the season. If his CU offer is legitimate he should take that, because I don’t think he sees the field at Aggy, unless that room decides to portal out like LB did.
  5. It’s a really odd top 15 class. I’m sure we would have taken the top two CB’s, in their class, but I’m not sure who else other than Hicks (that may flip to Ducks) and Hill (that already flipped to us) would be a take.
  6. I can’t believe the success Oregon is having today. Do these croots not realize they’re going to have to take multiple hour flights to games in a couple years?
  7. What’s the Auburn/Freeze discussion coming from? Did an expected portal player or recruit commit there over aggy or something? nevermind - I see on the other board that they’re on the outside looking in for Mitchell.
  8. No problem with the French. French Canadians on the other hand are the absolute worst.
  9. Unfortunately you’ll have to wait to post the review as we all know they don’t have internet in Canada.
  10. speaking of which, time to check in on the Crimson and Cream NIL Money raising machine. It's now day 30 and they're halfway to their goal of $1.5M in individual donations. (there is a donor match of those) I'd expect that total number to continue to increase, but at a decreasing rate. Maybe they get there in 2-3 months? This is supposed to be for all sports though, and that considered, that's not really a recipe for success long term.
  11. There’s a nonzero possibility that they were trying to keep Petrino warm as a candidate and he said no thanks. They had very little leverage to begin with in negotiating this OC contract, but when you’re the last guy standing you’re pretty much going to be able to name your price. Riley at $6m for 3 years is normal aggy overspending, but that contract for some lame duck retread is going to be hilarious.
  12. Not any sort of recruiting expert, but it sure seems like eeking your way to 85 scholarship players with last minute HS offers and portal takes is maybe not the preferred approach here to managing a roster.
  13. Beards wife a Tech fan confirmed. Probably some Lubbock oil NIL money paid to her to accuse him. sarcasm
  14. I hear 10 games into the season is a great time to begin a coaching search. Can anyone confirm?
  15. Well, basketball was fun while it lasted. Let’s try again in 10 years or so.
  16. Won a ton on eagles and 49ers today but lost an insignificant amount on bills/jets and browns/bengals over. Up a unit or two.
  17. Next generation thinking type of NIL. You pay opponents players/recruits to go out of conference.
  18. Teased it down to Army +10.5 and o 24. This is the year
  19. We need the depth chart posted again
  20. If the goal is to bring home Americans safely - perhaps not releasing someone that was actively trying to sell surface to air missiles and airplanes with grenade launchers designed to take down US airmen would be an alternative strategy.
  21. He is but his big charity work is involvement in his direct community, Houston and surrounding areas. He does a TON for the area where he lives and works. He just chooses not to do it in Austin. I think he's seen that good favor has done him well in business and made him a local god. In return people buy from him like crazy. I don't think he's solely driven by the return from good publicity, but what is the incentive for him to do it for UT and not for UH? I think the corporate stuff would be awesome for companies like Dell or Tesla or the multitude of other large businesses in the area.
  22. Bout, a former Soviet military officer, was serving a 25-year prison sentence in the United States on charges of conspiring to kill Americans, acquire and export anti-aircraft missiles, and provide material support to a terrorist organization. Bout has maintained he is innocent. seems like a fair trade.
