  1. Almost right. He was very reliable the first 2 years. I think he needs a slump buster right now though
  2. ASU is known for guessing. They caught Texas quite a few times slanting into outside runs. I would like to see more pistol. Teams have been slanting away from the RB.
  3. Helm was wide open in the flat also.
  4. He did scheme Helm wide open on the TD pass. I also think he got Quinn going. Nice target to motion to Golden on curl. Then trips away from Helm to isolate him on a kind of slant route. That got Texas down for the missed FG, but Quinn looked much better from that point on
  5. That is Sark though. There are going to be 3-4 great calls and 3-4 WTF calls a game.
  6. This game showed everything right and wrong with the offense. 1. Great opening script 2. Just terrible play until the 4Q 3. Don’t like the call and hate the read. Interception 4. defense gives up 16 pts in the 4Q 5. Game looks pretty over. 4th and 13. The OL makes the play of the game. ASU brings the house and are completely stoned allowing Golden to get 5 yards behind the defense, and Quinn hits him 6. Great play call by Sark leaking Helm out, he is wide open. Quinn hit him 7 Nice throw by Quinn to Golden. 2 pts Saw good and bad Quinn. Saw good and bad Sark. Saw good and bad OL. This offense is amazingly consistently inconsistent
  7. Have to give the OL some love. That 4th and 13 ASU brought the house. They picked up everyone allowing Golden to get 5 yards behind and Quinn hit him..
  8. You seem delicate. I’ll remember that in the future
  9. Depends on the position in the 2nd round. “Around 6mm” is the last pick of the 2nd round. It’s 9.9mm to 6.3mm. They upped the salaries this year for the draft
  10. 2nd round is 9.9-6.3mm https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2025/consensus-big-board-2025?pos=QB this has Quinn around pick 50. I think their 1 is clearly Sanders and Ward.. The order on the next 4 QBs is likely to be very volatile. Definitely an argument for any of the QBs in the next tier to return for the cash. Argument against is this is considered one of the weakest QB classes in decades, which probably means their will be a HOFer in the group
  11. Texas offense OFEI: 18th OF+: 10th Pts per drive- 15th Yards per play- 18th Good offense, not elite.. Top tier is tough, not sure what that exactly means
  12. I would rather watch shitty playoff game, than shitty bowl games. There are blowouts in championship games. Playoffs will have the same ebb and flow to them. Just happy to teams that aren’t missing all their best players Or call a timeout. Completely fair
  13. might as well go full Surly Texas> Michigan > Ohio State
  14. Michigan beats Bama twice in bowl games in the same year
  15. When it is not the fan bases go nuts for the flag not being thrown. Its like targeting.
  16. its hilarious that Bama is breaking out the Michigan offense to try and make a late comeback.
  17. I probably go for it there. Michigan has been running it well. Type of decision that it would be hard to get upset about either way.
  18. I would love to know why Michigan is not playing Jadyn Davis in this game. Borderline 5 star QB that hasnt played. Might as well check the tires on the kid, instead of playing Orji who is in the transfer portal.
  19. has anyone opted out of the playoffs?
  20. Was that Todd Orlando calling the safety blitz there?
  21. I think Michigan has a better chance of a Milroe turnover leading to points, than the offense going 25 yards.
  22. Not sure the Michigan offense is better than OU, but that is a tallest midget debate Michigan is playing their second string defense. Basically the entire starting DL opted out. Crazy thing was Milroe was probably thinking "Ill boost my draft status by playing the corpse of the Michigan defense in the bowl game".. Ooops
  23. just straight vanilla red zone TD%, Texas is 48th https://cfbstats.com/2024/leader/national/team/offense/split01/category27/sort05.html
  24. those are for both. Arch Redzone rating is 266.46 (5 TDs, 0 ints) vs 177.8 for Ewers.
  25. I view things like PFF and QBR as just a singular data point. Both have their merits and flaws. What people do them is their own choice. The great thing about them is people tend to shit on them when it does not support their opinion and love them when they do.
