  1. Still have but haven't used lately - B/O Beogram turntable Use - old ATT land line phone, old ipod for travel
  2. No kidding. The previous owner put black cabinets in kitchen and I wanted white. Plus for no good reason he put small cabinets around the top with doors about a foot square. Fourteen of them! I sprayed all the doors and rolled the surrounding stuff. It took 4 coats. If i were to do it again I would have sealed off the kitchen and sprayed instead of rolling. I thought it might take 2 coats to cover but 4 was a real pain
  3. They will have a lot more problems. Luckily there isn't an entrance on that side. They would have to go thru the hedges. I agree knowing about it helps but the brain does odd things. If I am at the yield sign and see someone turning left I "forget" about them when they are passed my vision field because I am looking hard to the left for "legal" drivers. Taking the foot off the brake and then turn back to straight ahead and the car that turned left is now sideways to hit the entrance. As I mentioned the really goofy part (other than an entrance in the merge lane) is a second entrance 20 feet farther to the same lot.
  4. Appreciate the replies. I don't want to have a wreck and try to figure out fault. I understand yielding to anyone coming my direction even if they illegally changed lanes. That's part of my issue here. technically they are in front of me but going 90 degrees across traffic to make that turn. Plus - Even more frustrating and not in the picture - right past the goofy entrance (about 20 feet) is a second entrance to the same place. That one is much easier to determine fault since the right turn lane has been merged into the existing right lane.
  5. This is an incredibly poorly designed intersection but I am stuck with going thru it a lot. Just about smacked someone this morning The satellite picture is poor but here it is. The silver car turning right from Oakwood is exactly where the problem is. They have a yield to turn right. The red arrow is the problem. People turning left from Oakwood are cruising sideways across three lanes to go into the gas station and they almost come to stop to avoid bottoming out on the entrance. The entrance should never have been allowed but it is there. Making the right turn you are looking to the left to yield and when you look back to straight ahead there is a vehicle essentially sideways to use the entrance. My view is the the vehicle turning left has is protected for a turn to the leftmost lane not any of lanes they want. Plus they are actually entering the yield lane to make that turn. Or am I supposed to yield to any vehicle in front of me no matter how they got there.
  6. Not to be "that guy" but it was Alex Hawkins. He also once commented on a player that had a cast on both arms - when you go to the mens room you find out who your friends are. Didn't stay on NFL broadcasts for too long after that edit - should have read all the replies before responding
  7. That would be a hard pass for me
  8. yeah you can use it as a bribe or bail depending on what happens
  9. No idea if it is still there but from 2000-2010 or so the Marriott at the Alamo had a mid sixties suicide door Lincoln sitting in the entrance area. It also had an Impeach Nixon bumper stick on the rear bumper.
  10. Some of the priced were just out there. Picked up shirts, hats, coffee hugs etc. Looked at a sweater but 395 bucks made me decide no.
  11. I wouldn't do it the second time. You learn the hard way. Washington Road did not look like the best place to walk. Kinda like hiking in a field
  12. well it was a fun day today. First time and fairly impressed with everything except the traffic - both car and foot. Took almost an hour from leaving the hotel (1 mile away) to get parked. Then at least 45 minutes to get in the gate. It was great to walk parts of the back nine before any golfers showed up. Then about an hour after lunch to hit merchandise stuff. It was a little difficult at first to get orientated. Obviously walking looks totally different that what you see on TV. Looking at the map and the course I still mis identified a few holes the first time. I wanted to watch a little of the practice tee but the stands are way back from the practice area. If I get lucky again and get the same hotel I am walking down Washington instead of driving. The traffic situation really can't be fixed unless you want a huge road that gets used one week of the year.
  13. Welp I am here and just got to hotel.Drove down to entrance - wow. Every ten feet on Washington is soemone with Buy/sell ticket sign
  14. Which gate is correct for merchandise? The website seems to indicate two areas for merchandize
  15. Pretty much my plan... Thanks for the tips. Overbuying - yep. I am driving so no UPS. A friend who has been a few times corrected my wrong assumption. I thought it should be no issue to shop after the day ends since they could not be sold out on Tuesday. I was informed that they set out stuff each day so a lot will be sold out at the end of the day. Only difference is I plan to walk the entire course backwards. I always do that at tour events. I get to see the course and multiple groups. In this case I am guessing I can see the final holes without a lot of activity and take pictures.
  16. I will be there for Tuesday practice round. woohoo!! First time.
  17. Complete with broomstick to hold up the bonnet (hood for the rest of you).
  18. and only one picture but a good one. Engine has returned
  19. Had the 01 4Runner from new until last year (except for loaning it to my nieces, no pictures, for a few years). Also had 93 Cherokee and 89 Comanche (Cherokee pickup) in 90's. All were great
  20. You knew in almost every episode either Rockford or his car or both were going to suffer some damage.
  21. Just wow! Never seen anyone ejected like that - and he walked away- with a limp. Also he wasn't doing that fast - 30mph???
  22. I am not exactly sure why the garage plated all of that but it was only 100 bucks.
  23. More work by the restorer on this Got rims back Tires showed up And a large pile of bolts and stuff got plated. It's not as difficult as it looks to figure out what goes where. A lot of the these are foe holding the fenders on
  24. From the size of that patch I would take it to a frame shop and make sure the front suspension isn't warped.
  25. I like the looks except for the back. Just guessing all those groves and stuff will catch a lot of dirt and sweat
