  1. Saw the change in first place votes as well after looking further and edited my post. Just win baby, just win. Yeah, that’s the bottom line. The fewer distractions the better, imo, but Texas already wears a target and the team has been very businesslike so far.
  2. Significantly closed the gap with Michigan and picked up more #1 votes, so at least there’s that. I’d just as soon have someone else at #2 in case UGA gacks one, but it’s not like it’s going to change that Texas is already circled.
  3. Oh, that PK. Yeah. But not the other PK.
  4. “Will someone get that idiot off the goalpost? Never mind.”
  5. Given the larger, stronger humans in burnt orange, that would be unlikely to work out for those other guys.
  6. That may well be true. I’m simply saying that Sarkisian didn’t say he’d be back for OU.
  7. Will be back for OU per Sark's post-game presser. To what level he will be is up to JT's body and how it heals but no structural, bones, or ligament issues. He said they’re hoping for that but don’t know how he’ll respond to treatment.
  8. Agreed. That’s why I said “not that it matters.” Unless Daniels was going to be tackling Brooks, his presence wouldn’t have changed the outcome.
  9. Click, clack, click, clack. Bama is down. Click, clack.
  10. Especially on this thread in particular. OU fucking sucks. No sniveling. Beat their asses until they see last season’s game as the good ol’ days.
  11. Also, beating LSU doesn’t look at strong as perhaps it did. If everyone’s going to break out the “Bama is down” take, let’s also acknowledge that LSU isn’t what they thought they were, either.
  12. Wyoming, Baylor, and KU started backup QBs. Not that it matters.
  13. Substitute “concern,” if that makes you feel better. Doesn’t change the bitchassness of your take.
  14. The same TCU that just lost to West Virginia at home? That’s certainly a take, anyway.
  15. Yours is just another in the list of complaints that have been gut shot and should be buried. Yes, yes, let’s “hope” Texas is focused. Texas is circled every week on everyone’s schedule. The only thing different about OU is they get circled back. Also, you keep using that word, “delusional,” I do not think it means what you think it means.
  16. Well, there’s the showdown with Houston after Bye, too, I forgot. But, sure, let’s worry about that. And how Sarkisian can’t win on the road. Or make adjustments. And how he’s almost at his seven win quota. And Ewers can’t pass. And Kwiatkowski doesn’t know defense. And assume OU will be the one breathing fire, not Texas. I’m hoping no one from Texas gets arrested for the curbstomping they’re about to inflict, but if others want to hope Texas comes out without focus, that’s another way to get through the week.
  17. That was the point. 34 for Texas, average less than 7 for the rest of the world so far, I think.
  18. This is the Ole Miss offense that couldn’t do dick against Alabama a week ago, right?
  19. One might, imo, reasonably argue that Texas kept it close in the first half.
  20. Kansas didn’t hold their own, they got pushed around all day and Texas demonstrated red zone problems that have been around all season except for Baylor.
  21. I will say, though, everything I saw from their coaches leading up to the game and afterwards has been complimentary of Texas. Postgame, Leipold was asked why they struggled against the run again and his answer, combined with his tone, was basically “Because they’re really fucking good.”
  22. When Baxter takes it and goes, he does well. I suspect this will continue to be pointed out to him. Didn’t expect Brooks to be quite the bad motherfucker he’s been. Good for him for biding his time, prepping, and kicking ass when he got the chance. Also like what Blue is doing, even taking into account the circumstances.
