  1. You need to tweet CDC this question.
  2. I hope so, love this show. The points about the costs being too high for it to be picked up I'm not sure are the most relevant, b/c it is about subs now. Also, the costs are 100% taken on by the production company, this isn't a funded show like some others - I think the bigger hangup is on rights negotiations. I'm guessing that the owners made money on both sides since the SyFy deal was only for direct viewing/linear rights, and S1 and 2 were streaming on Prime, so they were making money on the backend for that syndication - it wasn't going to SyFy. Amazon is probably the best candidate to pick it up now, since they have the earlier seasons. I'm kind of surprised the viewership is so low, considering the quality. I think that's a function of how it was measured (direct/linear viewing on SyFy only, not counting streamers via Amazon or delayed watchers).
  3. Does anyone have the link to the aggy dirt testing service? I have no idea what kind of dirt we have in Cedar Park, aside from rocky AF.
  4. "...new research has just arisen and the date is actually 2057!"
  5. Agile helps you run faster/more efficiently. Just don't forget to run in the right direction. The former is the job of the Agile team, the latter (should be) the job of product management. Don't make your product managers into product owners just because they both have "product" in the title. Different roles, with different foci.
  6. The closest I can find in the aggy database is Honey Mesquite, the leaves look almost identical, and this tree does drop bean pods later in the year. But the trunk structure is wrong, aggy shows Mesquite as more of a central trunk, this is more split at the bottom almost like Crepe Myrtle. Maybe it's a different Mesquite version, there are lots.
  7. Huh, never thought I'd stump the surl I'll need to break off a branch of leaves and take them into the nursery/arborist to satisfy my curiosity.
  8. Can anyone help ID this tree in my backyard?
  9. I feel for Anderson b/c he would have been a game-changer in the 90's era with the half court game. Long, lanky and clever, good poke on defense, and his slowness wouldn't be such a liability. In today's NBA, not so much.
  10. Long hair Manu Didn’t Give AF. None of those Manu’s did.
  11. There is a reason no one in the NBA presses. Teams are too good at breaking pressure at this level, and the GSWs are smart and great passers. It would be ugly; we just don’t have the athletes to compete - it’s not a strategy issue.
  12. Let’s consider the fact that it wasn’t Patty and Green that changed, but the system we asked them to work in. In the Beautiful game they got passes whipped to them for open looks and defenders caught in rotations. In the KL/LMA era we iso one side of the floor, we don’t cut so there is space in the block and then when LMA gets doubled he kicks it out to a covered shooter on a contested 3. I have actually been impressed with Green’s dribble drive progress this year.
  13. Need an Equalizer/John Wick crossover movie
  14. Part of the magic of low draft picks is that it's easy for them to over perform vs. expectations. It's much harder for high picks to do that. Careful what we wish for...
  15. This is the man who she says allegedly threatened her to stay silent on Trump: ...just saying...
  16. The plans I've seen for the redevelopment of Bell Blvd tell me that the money is better spent in-town for CP than on Cap Metro. But I'm a car driver, so not in CapMetro's demographic.
  17. Really? Are you new here? I never thought I'd have to justify CapMetro's incompetence; to me that has been a truism for Austin in my 25 years here, like "sky is blue" and "water is wet." I sincerely hope that CapMetro cleans up their act. And yes, part of their problem is that we as a society are dumb and have no ability to think beyond "herp derp rail" or "herp derp more car lanes!"
  18. I turned on KLBJ the other day and caught the tail end of a conversation about Flannigan and CoA trying to strong-arm Cedar Park into joining the CapMetro shakedown err...taxing entity and extending the CapMetro "service" into Cedar Park. Does anyone know more about this? As a CoCP resident, WhyTF would Cedar Park even consider this? CapMetro is the capstone of incompetence in the CoA pyramid scheme.
  19. Pop should get COTY if we get 4 seed with this shit show we roll out there.
  20. As if Congress won't extend it again before then...
