I think the best value in knives are Victorinox Fibrox. Consistently top rated for value/quality ratio. Swiss steel, Swiss made, nothing from China. Extremely well balanced, low maintenance. Can even go in the dishwasher. I have a 8” chef, 6” chef, 7” santoku, boning knife, slicer, shears, paring, and steak knives. They also make a $10 veg peeler that looks very unassuming that is the best I’ve ever used.

Also a big fan of the in drawer knife block if you have the room.

Seconded.  The Victorinox paring knife is a goddam scalpel.

Watching A&M lose is one of my favorite things to do. And there are some Aggie defeats that I'd MUCH rather re-watch than some Longhorn victories. Different forms of pleasure.

Oh, I enjoy watching aggy lose as well, no question.  And in some instances (e.g., 77-0, App State, etc.), the enjoyment is even greater than usual.  But it doesn't come close to outweighing the pleasure I get from seeing Texas win.  I guess it's just difficult for me to fathom the depth of the hatred that has to exist in order for a person to take more pleasure in the demise of another team than in their own team winning.

If Ryan Watts would've wrapped up Bryce Young in '22,  If the incompetent refs would have called the obvious hold on Bama's RT against Ovie Oghoufo on the play where Bryce Young broke Ryan Watts' tackle attempt, Casey Cain's catch to set up the game winning field goal would be considered an all-timer... Game of inches... Best of luck to him!

I appreciate him more than I did when he was with us. CSB, one of his uncles was the HS music teacher in our small town. He was telling all of us how great his nephew was and how he was going to be a bigshot. Yeah, yeah, sure thing Bob. A couple years later, boom, there it is.

Wait a minute -- the uncle's name was "Bob"?

    Wasn't this guy by chance?

[Yes, I know "John Denver" was a stage name.]

In all seriousness, John Denver had a terrific voice.  He showcases it pretty well on this song.

I'm not reading all that crap. Does he even address the scenario where they want to get rid of Fisher and the buyout leaves the aggy Atheletics Dept turbofucked financially???

Oh, but you should.  So many gems in there.  I think my favorite might be this one:  "This is a great deal. We're going to look at it again [?] as a great bargain."

How in the world was that pass to Doubs complete?!

And then that by Watson, wow.

Refs missed a pretty clear hands to the face by GB"s LT on that play.

Fuck Michigan. Hope Saban rawdogs fuckibg Harbaugh and sends his sorry ass home. Texas Bama rematch will be epic.

Oh, trust me, I had to think long and hard about whether I really want to root for cheating Meatchicken and that sack of shit Harbaugh.  And a Texas-Bama rematch *would* be epic.

But I just can't bring myself to root for Alabama under the circumstances -- they're so fucking lucky to be in.  First, Auburn's d-coordinator completely loses his mind on 4th and 31, and then the Committee decides to screw over FSU rather than risk the wrath of the SecSecSec.

    Maybe I'll just root for a meteor instead . . .
