  1. Started watching this recently and am three episodes in. Really good stuff. Sometimes difficult to keep the different family connections straight, but that's a minor quibble. Warren Jeffs and his ilk need to go die in a fire.
  2. Putting aside the general shittiness we've seen so far this season, it's always nice to take a series from the dirty birds, esp. on their grass. Coming back from 5-0 today made it even sweeter. Gotta find silver linings when I can . . .
  3. What was it about the Gladiator that didn't impress you? I don't own one -- just curious.
  4. Yeah, you may get a different outlook on this issue depending on the particular state, the particular tribe, etc. But, generally speaking, I don't think Indian tribes will provide the solution to this issue for those desiring abortions who live in states that have/will outlawed abortion in light of today's decision.
  5. I said the exact same thing, word for word, when I saw those stats. You, sir, are a genius of the highest order.
  6. My understanding is it's the only engine choice there.
  7. It's an open question AFAIK. As a threshold matter, most tribes are dealing with more basic problems like getting basic healthcare and housing for all their members, so they may not be overly interested in becoming the saviors of abortion in red states. Here's a link to an article about it. https://khn.org/news/article/native-american-abortion-clinics-access-tribal-land/ As that article indicates, funding would likely also be an issue. The Hyde Amendment restricts federal funding of abortions in most instances, and Indian tribes rely heavily on federal funding.
  8. Meteor strike odds are actually a bit better than chances of aggy title.
  9. I will again be rooting for a meteor strike.
  10. Yeah, they'll put that on the wall, too.
  11. They equaled their all-time CWS win total going into this year's tourney. Watch 'em put it on the wall.
  12. The guy was a hoot as a broadcaster, and was an underrated NT on some excellent Ravens defenses. He was also outstanding when Baltimore did the first Hard Knocks. RIP, Goose. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34131855/ex-nfl-dt-tony-siragusa-goose-dies-age-55
  13. Listen to this man. I didn't realize the path goes all the way up into LB. You can make a pitstop at Sea Legs in the Bolsa Chica area right off the bike path. Also, Golden Road Brewery in HB.
  14. All that's missing is aggy assertion that new ball is used only when opposing team is batting, while old ball is used when aggy is at the plate.
  15. Perfectly aggy. Douchebag catches foul ball and celebrates with huge smile when team is about to lose. Fails to give ball to kid.
  16. "He chose to go to A&M to chase a national championship." L-O-Fucking-L
  17. The beauty of it was that it came a millisecond after the crew was slobbering over aggy supposedly being such a powerhouse in innings 7-9.
  18. So was that McDonald who issued the disgusted-sounding groan right after the aggy batter popped it up for out #1?
  19. If it wasn't for all the OU runs, aggy would be leading this game.
  20. So maybe just a really really small meteor strike localized around the ballpark . . .
  21. Told my relatives in Omaha that they are doomed given the meteor strike that is sure to occur during the blowU/aggy game. It's just a question of which inning . . .
