  1. Funny how aggy wanted to renew 2012-2016.. Now, not so much.
  2. You are correct.. LJH hurts more than the others.. guess that was my point..
  3. I think the secondary can be fixed rather quickly.. We did that before when we signed Manning and Joseph.. O line may be more of a challenge, but it can certainly be improved significantly..
  4. Looking back on all the Horns that have gone early, this one hurts the most..For me anyways.. I understood and was at peace with VY.. Same with Benson and Charles.. Probably because of our likely dominance next year if he was returning..and all the games we won this year because of the plays he made.. I certainly wish him luck and will always cheer for him, but damn this still stings.. Hope he ends up with my favorite team on Sundays..
  5. Sad! Best of luck to him. Damn this sucks.
  6. The distinct SEC advantages - 4 non conference games. 3 Guaranteed wins for the program and ascent in the rankings. Not to mention these 3 games are NOT a home and home, allowing for 8 home games per school.. a big deal in some of these small towns these SEC teams play in and a huge recruiting advantage for kids that want to play near home. - 7 teams, 2 divisions. The Championship game will more than likely not be a rematch. Its beats the format in our conference, where now the top team after the round robin has to play the conference #2. - Bowl selection. The SEC has a deal with all the bowl committees where they get to see the opponent first, and line up their eligible teams accordingly.
  7. I bought a Sugar Bowl Champs cap.. this probably pushed us over the top. Your welcome.
  8. Every NFL fan, every year, since their favorite team's inception.
  9. If I die, you guys have been dead for weeks.
  10. I thought they were all on the same flight.
  11. I think LJH gets more touches because it takes pressure off Sam to run. I predict there will somewhat of an initiative by the staff to protect Sam more and have him take less hits, which includes his designed runs. LJH can wildcat as good as anyone, and Herman may be the first coach ever to realize the wildcat is more effective if the ball carrier occasionally passes.
  12. LJH can improve his draft stock if he has a full year returning kicks and punts.. And does well at this.. I would mind seeing him lineup in the backfield more as well. His touches need to increase, keep Sam from having to get those tough yards on the ground.
  13. Don't they lose some lineman? Not sure how the A's are going to feel about him returning without some of his key peices on the line.
  14. This is awesome news..
  15. You said it.. American Pie wasn't the first raunchy movie ever (Porky's come to mind) but it speaks to the OP's post. It also doesn't stand up to the test of time like Can't Hardy Wait. American Pie is difficult to watch now.. The acting isn't that great and there isn't much casual humor aside from Stifler. CHW stands the test of time. Its still funny and the acting is good enough..Much more watchable film IMO. They only made 1, yet American Pie had several sequels, each one better than the next.
  16. I want him to come back next year..Nd when he does, he needs more touches.
  17. Just curious..Did we get away with ineligible receivers downfield? I saw 2 olineman, one of which was farther that LJH..
  18. Elijah Rodriguez (72) made the best tackle in that play..haha
  19. I thought the officials were great. They caught the punter's knee being down for example..Don't know if the Big 12 officials would catch something like this unless its us doing it of course.
  20. I thought Blockers was funny. But speaking to what the OP is saying, look at the transition between Can't Hardly Wait and American Pie.
  21. I am also suing Bevo because my hangover will be so bad tomorrow cause I stayed up drinking watching the clip over and over again. It affected my job performance/income.
  22. Bevo fucking rocks. He might have actually affected the outcome of the game.
  23. I thought I could build up some political capital by agreeing to keep them. There have been talks of us getting a dog, and the SIL keeping it would save me from having to board it.. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
  24. Wife asks me if we could keep her sister's two yorkies, which are not housebroken, while she is off on a ski trip. If you ask me why her sister has never housebroken the dogs, I will ask you to consider her gender and look and the thread title. Me: We can keep them, as long as you clean up when they piss and/or shit on the floor. Wife: That's fine. I can do that. ....Day 1 of Yorkies: 5 separate piles of shit in my house. Guess how many piles of shit have been cleaned up by the wife. Also, guess who nearly tore an ACL slipping on dog piss in the kitchen.
  25. Which everyone was on board with when it happened.
