  1. Thanks man I’m in the shores, all good. I am enjoying some California red watching this game and life is good. Pretty good buzz going right now.
  2. Sitting in La Jolla California about to watch this shit because the UT game is not on. Meat chicken wining was good, now Tennessee can rip the schooner up.
  3. Polydactyl should be a protected class!
  4. Sheeeit we’re all getting old. Serious answer, figure out your home stuff first. You may not want to move if you split with your wife. Can you buy out your partner? Do you want to? I know someone like Greater Austin would kill for a concrete guy who knows his stuff. There are not enough to go around. But having been an owner could you be an employee? It’s a completely different situation and mentality. Good luck man, lots of tough decisions ahead.
  5. Truth. There’s a place down the street called Ttobongee that is unreal good. The plain fried is just ok, but with spicy sauce is unbelievable.
  6. FYI for many years (not sure if still true) Samsung off Parmer was the COAs biggest water and sewer user.
  7. They built a massive water line just for this fab, it’s being put in right now by Taylor. 36 inch diameter which is enough for a medium size town (probably 30000 people). So they aren’t fucking around with their investment.
  8. lol that throw was ass my dude.
  9. Do we really need the Saban VRBO ads, they suck.
  10. I like seeing a Texas team fucking laying pipe like this. Hitting all over, blocking well, very nice.
  11. I have a semi positive update on my dog. Despite horrific seizures and some likely permanent neurological damage, he’s slowly getting better. I take him to the beach every day , and his new thing is to lie in the freezing water and let the waves wash over him. Still suffering from some ataxia due to medication but we’ve stopped the seizures. obligatory picture, with a life jacket/ harness.
  12. They look shitty.
  13. Sounds like he was a cunning linguist.
  14. I’m planning on buying tether and becoming a criminal mastermind for my next career
  15. Actual question? Who should I be talking to when I’m ready to set up a custodial account, what should it cost, what kind of mistakes should I avoid, etc? Not investment advice but how this stuff works.
  16. Probably not given my current income, but if I stop earning then an option. Definitely a discussion worth having. Full disclosure I’ve never felt having a financial advisor was necessary before.
  17. Anyone here have a guy/gal? I have a couple of years to figure this out but I will have a large financial decision to make upon an event that is coming up, and it is likely that this is one of the options to pursue until I am actually retirement aged. Just past 50 now, so the 55 early retirement age and the 59.5 age don’t apply yet. My main concern is a) don’t fuck up tax treatment, b) actually diversify. I am incredibly concentrated right now, like 90 percent plus of my net worth in one investment that has been fantastic but is a pre tax retirement vehicle.
  18. I thought her first answer was her weakest, but once she got her footing she was very solid. How anyone can watch turnip and think they want to vote for him really confuses me. I’m pretty simple, there are plenty of things that Harris supports that I am not a fan of, but holy shit the difference could not be more obvious. He can’t be President again.
  19. This prediction aged like fine milk. Well done.
  20. Don’t like seeing residential buildings hit but this may be from shooting down?
  21. I can’t tell you how wrong you are, but I love living in a small town on the coast. Yes small town in Texas or Midwest U.S. is pretty bad, but on either coast and in mountains they can be awesome.
  22. If you had been smart enough to invest in Centerpoint you might have had enough money for a generator. Try not being poor and life is not as enshittified. My latest example is the state of Texas’ websites. I am constantly getting SSL issues on the PUC’s websites, and links to various Texas.gov sites are dead from Google. Literally nothing should be changing on these public facing sites but what used to take about 15 seconds to look up has become a fucking snipe hunt.
