If I'm understanding your intent correctly, then I don't think so.
You'll see the same teams in 26 and 28 but with reversed home/away. And you'll see the same teams in 27 and 29 but with reversed home/away.
It'll look like this:
2026: A B C @D @E @F
2027: G H I @J@K @L
2028: @A @B @C D E F
2029: @G @H @I J K L
No doubt. But even as bad as Napier has been, in a different era it might still happen. Players who are stuck with the program with no obvious, easy options, might choose to throw it all on the line to attempt to save a coach they presumably liked well enough at some point, to grant their commitment.
But in today's portal/NIL world, the good players are more likely to pack it in, shut it down, and check out their options for transfer.
I'm glad Mateer is getting the hype and Arch is getting the disrespect. Hope it continues right up until the final gun in the Cotton Bowl when Texas walks away with a 28-10 victory.
Just having some fun. I think it'll be much closer than you do, but of course we'll get to find out for real in a couple of weeks.
I also agree y'all got jobbed on the 3 perma-rivals, if what has been published is true. That sucks for y'all. Hopefully the 4-year look-in will turn out better for you.
Well, you should avoid twitter anyway, just in general.
But I absolutely love the attention they're getting. They can take the rat poison while Texas hears for the 5th week in a row how terrible and undeserving they are.
It's a step in the right direction but it pretty much eliminates the potential "revenge game" factor. If Texas beats Tennessee in Austin in 2026 but the two teams don't play again until 2028 in Knoxville, the makeup of both teams will be largely different. Especially in the NIL/portal era. I'd prefer to play in back-to-back years so teams can form some mini-rivalries.
But it's still better than prior SEC scheduling practices where things could happen like A&M only playing Georgia once in 12 years.
Black shows dust, white shows dirt. I've owned several of each. If you don't want to clean your car, get something in a dark gray metallic. That's what my current ride is.
That said, if the choice is between a stormtrooper, and Darth Fucking Vader, I know which way I'm going.
Yeah the swing-tops were popular with homebrewers back in the day. I've always seen it in green bottles rather than brown.
The beer itself is fine if you drink it locally, but when it travels overseas it suffers from all the same issues that other lagers in green bottles do.
That text exchange is something else. The increasingly shocked and horrified questions from the roommate, and the flippant and unconcerned responses from the killer. Far more worried about getting a rifle back to his father than killing another person. Chilling.
