  1. Let's remind everyone last time she went at Bernie it only hurt her in the polling. Are you suggesting this is a winning strategy?
  2. She smartly didn't take the bait to trash Bernie in the last debate and instead decided to annihilate Bloomberg. I'm not sure if Steyer is on the debate stage tomorrow but if she wants to cut into support she could go after him or Biden. Steyer has dropped a TON of money running advertising in SC which has given him some big support.
  3. I'm here for the @Huckleberry schooling. You love to see it.
  4. I assume he is being sarcastic.
  5. To be clear I'm fine with paying that amount because unlime a lot of millennials me and my wife can afford this. However we then get to hear boomers lecture us about why we're not having enough kids as if they are actually in touch with how the world works in 2020. If you want to make an argument you can't have kids if you can't afford it thrn that's fine but we're going to have a major health crisis later where there's literally nowhere near enough people to take care of us elderly, you're seeing that in Japan to some degree.
  6. Because we literally don't have a choice, it's a second mortgage if me and my wife want to work full time, are you seriously this dense? We're paying more before we got a mortgage because it's cheaper than renting crappy house. I don't care what you tell me, you're a Republican or libertarian because you're now using the "muh personal responsibility!!!" argument here.
  7. Time to make the switch then, Warren proposed a very similar plan and I bet you didn't complain about that. I freaking pay over 10k a year for decent daycare here in the suburbs which is 9 percent of my income. It is a cost barrier and literally affects the outcome of kids aptitude if you look at any social science. It's not going to kill me to pay for this for everyone as a tax.
  8. Just FYI if you're already on the record to not vote for Bernie because of policies and are okay with kids in cages the next 4 years then none of us have an obligation to take you seriously.
  9. Dude just go ahead and vote Republican, this is a policy that Warren was pushing for as well. At least you'd be honest with yourself.
  10. I'm done with this shit man, you are creating a scenario that is being played out in your head that has no basis in reality.
  11. Is this the very first time you've come across this publication? Show me any hard evidence that writers at Jacobin are pushing Bernie's campaign in any direction and have influence. It's a socialist magazine that has an extremely small following.
  12. You are seriously suggesting a person at a socialist magazine that is much farther to the left of Bernie, a magazine where there is no evidence that they have any influence over Bernie's campaign is going to suddenly be elevated and influential after he wins? Just own up and say that people are mean on Twitter, I would by that argument a lot more than you trying to link Jacobin that has no real influence on anything to Bernie.
  13. Like I said either this is fair game or it isn't. He literally came out in the last debate to say he disavows all this shit, if you're going to keep posting these random tweets from people who have almost no base then I'm going to find my own to show.
  14. https://newsone.com/3903564/attacks-against-black-women-during-political-cycles-emphasizes-lack-of-respect/ You may be right that he's not a paid person but he edited his Twitter profile to remove a reference to Pete. He previously held political positions in West Virginia, so he's not a random Twitter person I just picked out. I also don't care about this Jacobin writer either, she can fuck off, I just want you to realize that you posting tweets of people with virtually no following isn't indicative of anything.
  15. The person is literally a paid surrogate who then said he was hacked. I could argue that he has a lot more influence than a writer for a socialist magazine who only has 7000 followers and isn't on Bernie's staff. Are you seriously trying to make this argument about which posts matter?
  16. Do you not have anything to say about what I just posted about a Pete surrogate? If posts online are supposedly fair game as to what we should treat as being divisive then you going to have to own up to your own campaigns problems. I don't care about some socialist writer on Jacobin. I agree that I don't think it's helpful at all but I also don't think it's going to matter one way or another. I also don't think Steve's comments about Nina Turner affected people deciding whether they should vote for Pete.
  17. Yes, please tell me how strong Unions are in this country as if they haven't been gutted since Reagan and even before.
  18. Lol at all this talk and then literally not mentioning how strong labor rights are in Germany dude, it's almost as if people can earn a decent living without a college education in Germany. That is not the country I would pick to draw a comparison to.
  19. You are getting upset by an account with 7000 followers as if a bunch of Bernie people in Texas, or Bernie himself, is going to start shitting on Beto because they think that messaging will work. It's amazing how much any random tweet supposedly signals how unlikely Bernie is to coalesce while I've shared Tweets of Bernie Supporting Women who were called c*nts and it fell on deaf ears. You may want to log off Twitter, a surrogate for Pete (Steve McElroy) said he wanted to muzzle Nina Turner and then later is now claiming he was hacked which is completely BS and I haven't seen you talking about this divisiveness.
  20. Have whatever thoughts you want, but he's said PLENTY of shit like this throughout his career, an interview on 60 minutes isn't going to stop that from being used against him. Cuba's literacy rate is higher than the United States' as well. Maybe in September or October he's not saying these things as frequently, but we're still months away from Milwaukee and he's going to test how many people actually give a shit about this.
  21. It pisses me off how much shit we've received on here for being called Bros and blamed for helping deliver Trump because too many of us supposedly didn't vote for her in the general (I don't think a single Bernie supporter here has said they voted for Trump). Now you have actual posters on here who supposedly dislike Trump but are on record saying they will not vote for him and there is virtually no pushback.
  22. The tax everyone pays is for M4A dingus, I know you know this, and you no longer have deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket expenses. The speculation tax is what goes into debt forgiveness and making public colleges tuition free. https://berniesanders.com/en/issues/green-new-deal/ https://berniesanders.com/issues/medicare-for-all/ https://berniesanders.com/issues/free-college-cancel-debt/
  23. I cannot wait for the next 8 months from you as Bernie is gaining steam and you're doing nothing but whine and bitch and moan about him. His website has all of his policies listed in lots of detail and he has said at multiple rallies that he's going to pay for M4A by literally instituting a tax for everyone and paying for student debt and tuition by instituting a tax on Wall Street speculation. What you honestly could really argue is how likely are these plans to be passed even if the Democrats control the Senate, which is a fair argument and reason for debate. It's amazing how mad the past 24 hours have made you because it's so clear that you see Bernie winning this nomination and you can't do anything to stop it.
  24. Almost like his campaign website has all the information you'd need. https://berniesanders.com/en/issues/green-new-deal/ https://berniesanders.com/issues/medicare-for-all/ https://berniesanders.com/issues/free-college-cancel-debt/ And I anticipate your response will be "I don't believe that at all he's LYYYYING" in which case I'll think back to when you kept pushing Amy freaking Klobuchar who seriously thinks a couple of tax credits are going to fix the student debt crisis.
  25. I definitely know of several people who voted for Bernie because they were Republicans and disliked Hillary that much. You even have Republicans in South Carolina saying they're going to vote for Barney because they think he's going to be easier to defeat.
