  2. Excellent advice. Appreciate everyone’s input.
  3. Lake Travis. Have 3 kids, 7/5/1. Mostly to get them to have some fun and if they ever get into wakeboarding to have a decent option at that. Smart money is to buy some used shit, learn the ropes, see how the kids take to it. But, I’m really digging that Yamaha 255xd. Again, zero frame of reference. Just going by my buddy’s opinion who’s got a lake house in lake Charles.
  4. Don’t know shit about boats. About to start building a lake house. What’s everyone’s opinion on Yamaha jet boats?
  5. Shipleys kolaches are an abomination. Their glazed donuts are phenomenal tho
  6. Results: Legit top 5 brisket I’ve ever had. Will only be doing Wagyu from here on out. Totally worth the price IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Wagyu brisket and Dino ribs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Fucking tapa triple post
  9. Bering’s finally got my GMG Jim Bowie Prime in. Delivery and setup scheduled for this Saturday. Went to B&W meat market and stocked up and Lumberjack pellets. Amazing deal compared to what I’ve seen on line. $11/20lb bag. Bought 18 bags. Planning on doing my initial burn in immediately and segueing into this shit I picked up at H-E-B. Thankfully it was still open: Planning on going at 225F on the brisket. Hoping like hell I don’t fuck it up. Pointers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. The best lamb chops on earth are at Musaafer. Not just Houston. Earth. Everything else on the menu except for the Daal and desserts are overrated but their lamb chops have no peer.
  13. When the fuck are you going to cook one? Jesus Christ.
  14. Looks great. Where can I send you my business card?
  15. I’m team soft/chewy bacon over burnt/crispy bacon but that needed a few more minutes
  16. I think it’s how u go about doing the keto, tbh. At first I was doing “dirty” keto, just eating gobs of shit minus the associated carbs. Have since tried to throw in more salads and veggies with less reliance on pure animal fats/proteins. But it’s hard.
  17. Keto certainly raised my lipids big time. I upped the crestor and started zetia to combat both the endogenous and exogenous cholesterol
  18. Thx. Will check it out. Have been very impressed with this Costco bread. Grilled up nicely for a patty melt.
  19. 2 net carbs per slice. That picture had 1.5 slices.
  20. Did some sous vide eggs at 167 for 12 min followed by 1 min in ice bath. Served over some keto toast (Costco) slathered in Plugra salted butter. Gonna have a glorious MI Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Tonight’s bounty. 4 kinds of Persian kabob. Tenderloin, lamb, chicken, and ground beef. Served with the usual accoutrements minus the rice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. My best friend lives in NorCal. Sent me a pic from his local Costco selling certified A5 Kobe at $99/lb. I went to the greenway Costco during my lunch break ready to buy hundreds of dollars of those steaks but none to be found. They also had stopped carrying the tied up ribeye caps for the last few months and those are my favorite cuts they have. So, I emailed corporate about my disappointment and lo and behold the ribeye caps were in stock today. Doubt my email has anything to do with it but I’ll take it as a win. Portioned for the sous vide and into the freezer. Can’t wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Been doing keto with intermittent fasting for a little over 4 months. Down almost 60 lbs. always trying to find new ways to eat shit without getting sick of food. Breakfast is usually 4 eggs scrambled with a splash of heavy cream and 3 strips of bacon. Below is tonight’s dinner. Been craving spaghetti/lasagna so made some lasagna with sliced deli rotisserie chicken as the noodles. Worked amazingly well. Didn’t notice any competing flavors and texture was spot on. Caprese shown below too (mozzarella hidden under the basil). Will try to post more shit as I make them. Hoping some of u guys could contribute too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Buffalo grill? I’m not at all a fan of their egg dishes, but they make some of, if not, the best pancakes in town. Certainly the best pancakes near where I live
