  1. Reggie is telling these players that Urbs will be there to oversee the national championships very soon
  2. It is all one clause with a compound predicate.
  3. The MOB is full of people who are so smart, they are surprised and delighted to learn that football players at an academically rigorous institution don’t, in the aggregate, average much better than a B- in a good year. This tells us not just how smart the MOB is, it also helps demonstrate the insecurities they mask by consoling themselves with their SAT scores.
  4. Yeah, the whole chivalry— buy your date’s ticket— is a fine idea. Your choices are to be seated like students or to pony up for “I’m spoiling a lady” seats like a southern gentleman and be seated accordingly.
  5. Best case he takes an SEC E gig, damages the SEC brand even further, and leaves aggy twisting.
  6. All visits either split among 2 schools or mid-week. Except LSU.
  7. Good enough I wanted to recognize with more than a rep.
  8. Big 10 has crushed everybody else in media revenue. We are the king of B12 $$$, but we make essentially the same as Northwestern. I wonder (1) whether their revenue model is sustainable at that level as the media landscape changes, (2) whether it is an opportunity unique to their geography or possibly can be exported, (3) whether we (alone, as a small group, as a major alignment) have a future with them, (4) whether they might try to expand into pac turf, and (5) if the big "12" falls far enough behind the "10" (especially if OU looks around), we would ever look at the ND model.
  9. Yeah the recruiting calendar drove him out of coaching. Because the calendar was hanging on the wall of Zach’s office next to pile of boxes of sex toys.
  10. Recovery is faster after anterior supine surgery like Saban had, but return to work at day 2 after surgery is still extraordinary. That man is driven.
  11. The holder on that play is an orthopedic surgeon in Frisco now. He and the Cotton Bowl trophy are both named for his grandfather.
  12. Texas as dogs in most of our games? OK cool Hook’em
  13. Wait. Is the implication that we need to keep Mt Vernon down? Because Baylor isn’t hiring Briles; MtV is. Landomatic said it. Politics/religion discussion is verboten here for good reason.
  14. Is it just remotely possible that failure of the front 7 at KU might factor just a little into the runaway safety ratings there?
  15. Yes, apostropes. From the Greek απο meaning “from” or “away” and στροπε meaning “crap, a typo.”
  16. Most likely out at least part of it-- all would not surprise. My guess is not released to full contact until October at the earliest.
  17. 1. This injury is unlikely to affect his ability to play OT in 2021 2. Hopefully however it opens his eyes to the value of a Texas education over the alternatives, God forbid some other injury should limit his FB career
  18. Please take this to CR.
  19. No supraorbital component to smile. Needs more orange slices.
  20. It’s loyal, family-oriented, small-town juicing, though. Not like the trap-door, grind, Bama style.
  21. I’d swap Baylor for Riyadh Tech’s Yemen Research Campus. Rice is considerably more desireable.
  22. Depends on whether we use a mechanical ball launcher for a QB and the other team fields a defense.
  23. He’s just misunderstood several people, including that girl when she didn’t enunciate, “no” well.
  24. If aggy gets desperate enough, I could see them Hance/Leaching ol’ Jimbo out of some of that money. If otherwise harmless West Texans will do it, aggy is certainly capable.
  25. We need USC to show some signs of life early. Nothing great, just a pulse. Last thing we need is for Urbs to get hired in time to try to salvage their 2020 recruiting class, especially at the expense of our own.
