  1. Wow. I didn't realize the recent record was that lopsided. If not for the last second FG in 2018, OU has won 8 of the last 9.
  2. Same. That's exactly what we would do. I have mixed opinions about Netanyahu but he's not one to be fucked with like this.
  3. Will the people obsessed with Ukraine funding now call for cutting off Isreal and for them to surrender to Hamas? If not, why not?
  4. Midtown Tulsa is solid. Tulsa is just too small for me but if I had to, Midtown/Utica Square would be it. Central OKC has some good neighborhoods, actually. Midtown (original, I know), Bricktown, Heritage Hills, Nichols Hills are all good but yes, the rest of the OKC metro area is a giant strip mall with chain restaurants.
  5. Both you and I have ties to Oklahoma and believe it or not, if I had to choose between OKC and DFW, I might take OKC and that's something I NEVER would have said 10 years ago. The state politics are basically the same but OKC is cheaper, easier to get around, has some cool neighborhoods now and has a better food scene vs just a few years ago. Sure, I hate the OKC burbs like Edmond with a angry, black heart but at least it doesn't take an hour to drive anywhere worthwhile there and suburbs are suburbs the world over.
  6. If these "problem solver" assholes want to solve a problem, why not throw their weight around and make some demands? Tell the crazy wing that if they nominate Gym Jordan or David Duke Without the Baggage then they'll either abstain or vote Jeffries.
  7. Motherfuckers like Gaetz are well known in the high end escort world. Books an extended appointment (+8 hours) and shows up on cocaine and viagra and wants to literally fuck all night. That's why the women will state something like they require a minimum 6-8 hours sleep on an overnight. That's to ward off the Matt Gaetz's of the world.
  8. The wife and I were having this exact same conversation. While neither of us were born in Texas, both have long ties to the state from both our single days and into our married lives. We lamented that Texas is different now. It used to be unique from a cultural standpoint and there was a sense of pride about that. Now, it's basically The South with money. We used to have a soft spot in our hearts for Texas but if we never live there again, we're fine with that and we didn't feel that way 10 years ago. Texas whatever.... That being said, the cities in the South are great. It's the rural and suburban parts that are fucked up.
  9. I didn't say it benefited them. I said they spent their money, and the markets benefitted. To @Bozo_Casanova's point, it's a wealth transfer. Get the proletariat to spend their money and the corporations and shareholders benefit. It trickles up, not down. Sure, the proletariat gets a few hundred bucks in tax cuts and then sticks their chest out. However, in the long run, they end up paying more for things they used to get for free like schools, roads, health care, etc.
  10. Yeah, these two. I'm EP on AA and for years, Citibank has been trying to pitch me on a card upgrade that carriers permanent lounge access or something. I always think aout it but I'm always pressed for a connection so I don't have time to wait 30 minutes in line at the Admirals Club. (They need to cull the herd on that.) We were in PDX last week and the line for the Centurion Lounge was at least 30 deep and it was in the regional terminal for God's sake. If I have time to kill, I find the best restaurant at that airport but to LL's point, you can get help with booking but the app has always been good to me so there's that.
  11. An underrated angle to Reagan's presidency was he hit the meaty part of the curve in relation to demographics. The Boomers were a huge generation at that point in American in history and starting around 1980, they were hitting their peak spending years. The oldest Boomers were 35 in 1980 and all of them would go on to buy houses, cars, have kids, whatever. All Reagan did was lower taxes and let them spend their money.
  12. Watch their being exception for major injuries like there is for defensive scores, special teams, etc.
  13. Nancy Mace if being Speaker doesn't stop her boyfriend from getting his nut in the morning.
  14. I like how they're blaming the Dems. If you want something from them, offer them something they want. That's how this works.
  15. Yeah, the difference in the West from being the 3 seed to being the 10 might be if you have a key player miss just 10 games. You're going to have a legitimately good team miss the playoffs altogether.
  16. They likely did this on purpose to either delay or use it for an appeal later.
  17. He could give Ashlii Babbit one next time he sees her in hell.
  18. Looking at their schedule, they close out against a putrid Nebraska team. They could easily run up the score there just to meet the scoring thresholds.
  19. Pittman was a career position coach was had never even been a coordinator. He was in no way qualified for the job. That being said, he left them better than where he found them and should retire for someone actually qualified.
  20. Pittman is a below average coach. He’s folksy and his players play hard for him so he’s like able but with everything else, he’s average at best. He was never even a coordinator.
  21. And Texas and OU are supposed to be worried about the SEC grind….?
