  1. Caruso has been the only one that plays bigger in big games. OKC should be up +20 here. They're playing great defense, actually, and missing wide open shots. For some reason, Dort has taken 6 three's in the first half and is 1-6 (of course).
  2. No, even SGA is too passive. He's said he wants everyone involved (he's not wrong) but in big games sometimes, a star needs to take over.
  3. The basketball gods want it to go 6 or 7 games. Same reason why Boston wins tomorrow night.
  4. Everyone keeps speculating if OKC would trade for Giannis (prolly not) but what if they instead traded for Flagg? Send Chet or Jalen Williams plus Cason Wallace and 3 tasty pics? If I'm the other team I seriously consider that.
  5. The OKC/Denver series is going about like how their Dallas series went last year. Close games and Dallas and Denver hit all the big shots and OKC doesn't hit any. The series prolly should/could be 3-0 but Aaron Gordon hit a few shots. Also, a feature and a bug about SGA is that he doesn't take over games. He's insisted for years about spreading the shots around and how those guys need to be willing and able to hit a big shot rather than just stand around watching and waiting. (He's not wrong.) However, sometimes when they need a bucket or two, he just needs to go get them.
  6. When does Vance start arguing with him?
  7. Surprised it hasn't happened already.
  8. Our types overlap to the point it's a perfect circle. She is the type I would marry in 6 months and she'd ruin my life a year later. She is my kryptonite.
  9. I remember watching a Celtics/Thunder game earlier this season and they took literally 35 three's in just the first half. Just a lazy offense, really. They'd run a screen and the person coming off would just fire up a three. They were hitting until they weren't and OKC is an awful matchup for them. Everyone on that roster can defend the perimeter. I remember thinking OKC would sweep them in a 7 game series and maybe I wasn't wrong.
  10. Pressure now on Denver for Game 3. If they lose that, they're in trouble. You can't help but to wonder if they're starting to wear down. They've gone every other day now for awhile. Winner of this series likely wins the whole thing considering what is going on in the other series. Boston/NY is insane and I don't really care who wins. Top 2 seeds in the East are both 0-2. Knicks out of the East maybe? Knicks in the Finals might save the league from a Cleveland/OKC ratings debacle.
  11. Oklahoma City not fucking around.
  12. The Ava being a third plotline is on point for that character and her in real life.
  13. For all the hand wringing, if Chet and/or Jalen Williams hit a few more shots, they win. Even with that, they should have won. They were up 10 late. Tonight is must win for them, though.
  14. On the flip side, Denver played pretty well, OKC did not late and it still took a miracle for Denver to win. Also, can Denver hold up playing like that every other night just seven guys?
  15. I didn’t know Jokić wasn’t in the game with 10 seconds left when OKC fouled up 3. Jeez.
  16. They easily win this game if he just hits a dunk and at least one FT.
  17. I’m 50 and saw myself in every single one of those characters.
  18. BS and Rusillo touched on this but Houston needs to trade Sengun, Green, and Jabari and some tasty picks for Giannis. That's the only way they're winning a title and even then I'm not sure. They're going to have to throw in assets for someone to take Green's awful deal that they didn't have to do. I guess if they want to keep running FVV back that's fine but they need another guard that's not small. FVV will get you some stats but he's small and they can't play Reed with him because then they have two 6'0" (if that) guards out there at once. A roster of Amen, Giannis, FVV, and maybe Jabari might get them somewhere.
  19. Lulz at trading Jalen Green. Someone thought it was a good idea to give him an extension. It kicks in next year at 3 years $100M or something. No one is taking him. He's not an asset. He's an anchor.
  20. This has to be the longest series in playoff history as far as days in real life taken to play. We've been at this two weeks. Jalen Green is ass, my dude. Jabari Smith is just a guy. If I were a really wealthy old guy, Jimmy Goldstein might be my north star. Fly around the country watching games and buying gorgeous mid mod trophy houses.
  21. Was coming here to post that. Eight episodes, all very funny and good pacing. You could tell Tina Fey's writing was all over it. Legitimately funny. Kind of a Big Chill for Gen X vibe. Really liked this show.
  22. Yeah, Denver is a bit younger than the Clippers but they have no depth and just played a hard 7 game series. OKC is young, a lot of depth, and coming off a week's rest. They start playing every other day tomorrow.
  23. 7 points on 2-8 shooting in a Game 7 is Peak Harden.
