    Bidet Meta Threas

I generally don’t like to talk about shit and poop and pee and all that, consider me traditional and old fashion that way. But… it’s good to be home to my bidet after a near month in Mexico.

    Getting old sucks

I’m actively trying to figure out how to house and feed birds right now. I’m scared.
  4. “Stop sliding that thing so fast you’re going to break it.” skill was a fast slide from a network channel say cbs channel 5 to MTV channel 32 in one single quick move. yes all while sitting right next to the big tv set inside box furniture on the floor.
  5. I make a mean smash burger bring it I’ll do that deal. I remember when coffee shops and pizza joints were taking BTC. I hope those shop owners held them!
  6. That’s a great spot !
  7. You can’t read can you. My investing strategy is long term hold for aggressive growth. You really need to be right though, so I’ll let you because I’m not invested in this argument its returns suck.
  8. Crypto stable coins like bitcoin can be used to store value and as currency. It’s not a widely accepted currency much like pesos are not widely accepted in the US but you can go to the bank and exchange them for dollars. You can sell bitcoin for dollars and some do take it as currency. One of bitcoins biggest threats is reform to the financial system where 1-3.5% of every non-cash financial transaction is raked for fees. Fix that and you could see crypto crater. anyway, I have no need to convince anyone again, I’m following some wickedly smart money that is in on bitcoin. Everyone else can do as they please. Idgaf.
  9. Y'all are the ones claiming an asset that is now broadly accepted by Wall Street - so much so it’s quoted on tickers next to the S&P 500 is unlikely to remain so. You’re the one lacking seriousness. How does it go? lol is it? Sheesh.
  10. My water isn’t worth shit unless total complete collapse occurs. So your logic is quite stretched and quite attenuated.
  11. Then gold has the same characteristics and it’s now so valuable you can’t really use it well as currency even if paper currency collapsed. Silver is a better metal for currency but in both cases it’s scarcity and perceived value that make it so. The two risks for bitcoin are regulation (out of existence) and total collapse of society. I think the time for the first has recently passed. That ship has sailed. What’s left is total collapse, in that sense it’s just like paper currency. But that’s where gold, silver, water, unique goods that are disappearing come in handy. I’m fucking loaded if water becomes a currency sheesh.
  12. neither of these are acceptable, I demand more.
  13. in the purest sense so is paper money and i'm not a gold bug or crypto bro. it's been around long enough to be a proxy for value at this point. but I hear your point.
  14. hahaha, there's some truth to that. funny how our parents were afraid of us getting naked and I'm like just get off your god damned gamer stations and fuck a girl already wouldya?
  15. well, I'm a lawyer and while not a trial lawyer, I've learned that humans are preconditioned to respond well to a good story. storytelling is everything. I've clued my boys into that and on occasion they are at cocktail parties at our house and the older one sticks around and chats with the adults. he's keenly aware of my stories and I think he's taking notes. next to stories is laughter. if you can make someone genuinely laugh with you, you're rounding third and headed home. the other side of the coin is listening, but in this instance, the task is to share so you listening is not an option.
  16. my 15 year old is a band rockstar not a leader rock star yet even though he was the only soph promoted but his musical ability is phenom. but for music he would be a gamer 24/7, and he still needs to crawl out of his shell (including more frequent showers and other personal hygiene activities). hoping soph year is it.
  17. that's an awesome story. this kiddo is pretty dialed in we will see what he comes up with, but this is great advice. do you remember what question you were answering that led to telling that story?
  18. it's definitely a covered real estate play (likely at a substantial deficit). short falls are a rounding error on what that property will become in the coming years.
  19. Hahaha “but convenient too” (damn autocorrect) because of diversity essay topics still in play and they don’t require test scores - the worst aspect of his college resume.
  20. Of course. But we were talking about the campus corner of mlk and guad on the south side of mlk.
  21. At least 5 years please 7 preferred with massive volatility preferred so I can keep adding.
  22. Third spaces are critical for human contentment and happiness imo. Church was the de facto one for most humans throughout the last few hundred years - work, home, church. It’s critical imo that we all find and cultivate that third space. That’s 100% my goal for him here - school, family, band. @The Dog as someone who was in a cult during college I vehemently disagree.
  23. Same, exactly the same. I think it’s ok. He needed 100% downtime. I get it.
  24. Band kids at least in our experience have the busiest schedules in the entire high school.
