  1. Seems like a perfect example of a low energy impact, thus keeping its shape. My guess would be he was at a low altitude/AoA, to begin with, and that's why you don't see a trail of parts strung out 1/4 mile.
  2. You're on to something there. People forget the cost associated to train pilots (plus proficiency) on airframes isn't cheap. When I worked F-22s it was almost $70K per flight hour. Having air dominance and pilots who can drop a JDAM on a ants ass in the middle of Sudan at 20K feet doesn't come cheap. MURICA!
  3. So what you're telling me....this is equivalent to me as a boy slingshot'n my way across a field of trees and then hauling ass before I get hit back by Johnny. Russians are truly clueless when it comes to weapon employment and the associated TTPs to maximize your ordinance and airframe. Fuck Russia!
  4. Insurance...for classics I use none other than Hagerty. Love them, been using them for many, many years. Ensure the car for whatever valve YOU want and they will pay that value in the event it's totaled. Their customer service is legit too. Depending on the value you set, they may ask for a few pictures.
  5. I had my reservation until I saw the YouTube video where they tested the sump by taking a 10lb sledge hammer and repeatedly beat the sump and it never leaked. For some one who drives occasionally off road and hauls on rock roads I was convinced. The filters are there for ease of changing. I run a coolant filger bypass under the passenger side door and never had an issue and the filter is not protected. Hell I hit a brick on I-10 few month back hauling and swore it would of taken it off but nope.
  6. Or we're clearing space for a new anti-tank missile that may or may not already be in production [emoji6]
  7. Agree, once you get Transcom and AMC in sync lookout. We can definitely move some iron when needed (I'm a prior C-17 mechanic). Add in the fact that the C5M is much more reliable than its predecessors and you have a recipe for success.
  8. Bring on the everyone is quicker and added 27lbs of muscle articles.
  9. For exemptions, your local county tax office will know that.
  10. Purchased raw land last summer in East Texas and there is some good feedback above. The deed restrictions are a huge one to think about, a lot of little stuff in there that can cost. Do the Mineral rights convey with the property? Are there any exemptions with the property? If so you need to know...for example timber exemption requires management plans and a map/layout etc. Utilities were a big one for us as I did the well water as a kid in North Texas and I'll never do that again.
  11. We're going to win, some of you need to man the fuck up.
  12. The point still stands though. Remember when the MQ-9 was just an ISR platform until war changed that and we outfitted it with hellfire missiles.
  13. Got around to adjusting the valves after procrastinating for a while. Fired it up sounded good after a few months resting. Need to fixed a rear wheel cylinder leak than she'll be ready for some spring adventures.
