  1. It is great that the Ukrainian people are fighting for their freedom against a regime intent on enslaving them again. I would say communist, but that doesn't define Russia anymore. What is interesting is that our fellow countrymen who rant and rave about civil wars and 2A rights are on the wrong side of this, supporting the oppressors. Thing is over there, the oppressors are like them, over here, the supposed oppressors are libtards. Each time Putin does this, he does it to stir the pot and make his opposition look weaker (be they internal or external) and himself look like the worldbeater. He didn't invade Ukraine because he was too busy invading the US. He nearly succeeded too, but he got foiled by that rigged election.
  2. Yeah they don't like LGBTQ nor anyone of color.
  3. Sitting silent while Trump abandoned the Kurds should have given us full indication of how Trumpkins would react to any move of aggression Putin made. I would love to see Trump's Russian financed assets anywhere in the world seized and any funds made off of them used to fund defense moves against Russian aggression.
  4. I really hope it comes out that the bulk of the confidential docs he took from the WH would be things China, Russia and/or UAE would be very interested in seeing. You have to wonder how much is already gone. Surely they have a catalog of these things and can definitely state 30,000 docs were missing and we retrieved 25,000. Here's a clue as to what those 5,000 dealt with.
  5. Yeah, this has been brewing all week under all the other Trump crap. https://www.cnn.com/2022/02/17/politics/trump-hotel-old-post-office/index.html
  6. They ought to fine him so much there's nothing left to sell. Seize those puppies. Turn them into homeless shelters.
  7. The word coming down on Dems not having propositions this year was a decision based on the prediction more people would be forced to vote in person (due to voter suppression on VBM) and longer lines at polling places (due to voter suppression on limiting polling places and hours). So not having props to sort through hopefully speeds up the process and shortens line length. Also, as seen above, the Republicans have pretty much made a mockery out of any type of fair and balanced propositions aimed at serving everyone. If you are voting red, vote for that woman running for land commissioner. She probably has the biggest Achille's heel. I'd love to see Michael Lange or Jinny Suh debate that airhead. Suh is pretty awesome. I've had occasion to visit with her several times, and she is impressive. https://www.jinnysuhfortexas.com/
  8. I thought King's Man was pretty good. Pretty far from a steaming pile. Watched St Vincent on Netflix. Pretty good show. Typical Bill Murray kind of vehicle. Still it had a decent plot, script and good acting. The pregnant Russian prossy is fun.
  9. Don't forget that she was already back to flirting with Ennis' replacement cowboy within a week of his death. But then Sam came along and caught her eye.
  10. Not too stupid to know things aren't headed in the right direction, but just stupid enough to keep voting the same clowns in time after time. What is the definition of madness again?
  11. Individuals can't make up the difference in all those guys' warchests. The herd is getting smaller and thinner, and more grifters are getting into it, via PACs to compete for fewer dollars. And you have Trump on top of that heap of grifters. It's why so many of them try to stay in his good graces, hoping he'll fund them.
  12. They seem to be paying a price though in the corporate world. I think it's part of the GOP turning away from Trump and those hoping to hijack his followers. Corporate donations to Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and other Jan. 6 election objectors have plummeted, and individual donors are Congress’s biggest fundraising force All that money Cruz and Brooks lost went to Manchin and Sinema.
  13. Or a pharmacist any time before computers began keeping the numbers. You got to think Scotland is pretty interested in this Mazars story. Or would he have had to have a Scottish CPA firm do all that work? Or sign off on it. Would be so cool to have those courses confiscated. Didn't most of that money come from Russia?
  14. The Kindness of Strangers is a nice little palate cleanser after you watch that Swindler thing. Gives you a reset that there are good people out there too.
  15. That's a new way to say he's short in character and stature. Bravo.
  16. I'm really only in it now to see why and at whose hand Elsa dies. But it will probably end up being some dream sequence.
  17. Stripes. Classic. I appreciate Ramis more as I've aged. Such a good foil to Murray's schtick. Much like Chase in Caddyshack.
  18. I guess they only have an issue in wasting trees on paper, not bonfires.
  19. He might be done Gorka, but he's not going down without taking Trump and all you sycophants with him. The worm is turning slowly.
  20. I started it on Amazon, then it went to streaming on a service 2/1. So i just bought the last episode of season 1 and now season two.
  21. And once again they killed about 5 more bandits than they originally claimed were there. I don't understand why Tim stopped shooting like he was out of ammo when his belt was loaded still. Maybe rationing himself? And I suppose Sheridan is supposed to be Charles Goodnight?
  22. Discovery of Witches is not bad. It's better than Outlander, writing wise, I think. But the special effects are pretty decent, too.
