  1. What is the whole story on Quay? Closed book?
  2. WR Quay Davis, Skyline (Dallas, TX) - 25%: Even if he publicly committed to Texas today I'd have my doubts that he'd sign with UT. They need to recruit the class like Davis won't be in it. Could have sworn just a week or so ago that IT said to bet on Davis being in the class. Knox could be a big get with his cousin being a stud 2022 LB. Do they really think 2 potential 5*'s will go to SMU??
  3. First in not worried about hand size. Quay reads surly
  4. For now. Quay has at least 3 more commitments to make
  5. Quay is a sensational WR in every regard. It's a shame he's so flaky
  6. Sounds like the Fong CB for Quay may have some merit
  7. 247 / Roach Shadsman15 said... (original post)Any 2021 prospects that could be heavily influenced by certain potential new staff members? Mike Roach ... If Emmett Jones were hired, I think Texas would be heavy leaders for Savion Byrd, Camar Wheaton, and Quay Davis.
  8. Ej jumped on Orangebloods and posted Quay was expected to be a commit again here soon.
  9. Is tomorrow's shit sandwich going to be that Quay got Noah Cain'd? The evidence is......overwhelming
  10. Here’s the Rivals Prime 21 WR v DBs. Includes Quay and Juan Davis, JD Coffey, Ibraheem, Bowman, and Campbell. Juan Davis definitely looks big and has solid hands. Reminds me of Duvernay in that regard @Katfid54 Ibraheem looks impressive and has good size and physicality considering he’s still going to fill out a lot. Bowman looks pretty good too. unsurprisingly, LBers can’t cover Campbell.
  11. Without having any idea what the bridge too far is built from, I'm curious what the rest of the class thinks about Quay coming on. There has been a lot of public and private recruiting by the commits and none of the public stuff has been directed at Davis, even when he was a reengaged silent.
  12. 247 / Roach Shadsman15 said... (original post)which 2021 prospects is Texas in the best spot for right now? Roach ... Would depend on how you classify it but I like where things stand with the following: LJ Johnson Jonathan Brooks Quay Davis JoJo Earle Terrence Cooks JD Coffey
  13. umm he's been Fong'd to LSU now.. only Quay can save us
  14. Meh and Beck in the shot, Quay does not even give them a look after that catch.
  15. I'd let JQJ/Quay try to reel in Wheaton after Drayton whiffs on him first
  16. Would like it very much if Quay got his head right enough to get back in the class
  17. Probably Quay, with Jonah Miller being next most likely. Or King if they let him commit. Imo.
  18. FWIW, seen a post on another site that TFB is now saying things have calmed down with Quay.
  19. Could definitely see that, makes sense with the kansas commitment as well..Quay in the same class definitely lends credence
  20. My bad, John Burt was only ranked 137 in the nation for composite. That is 42 spots lower than Quay.
  21. I interpreted IT and other 9.95er comments more as Quay being a huge question mark as a prospect (not talent wise), rather than Herman went full Herman. I also don’t really blame the staff for telling Quay to hold off (if that’s what happened) if Quay is saying he wants to take more visits. If Quay’s going to commit again, he needs to be ready to shut it down and not visit elsewhere. I’ll be very curious to see if Salter lands any big time P5 offers before the season starts. The “skyrocketing” offer list Wiltfong put in that article doesn’t scream top 100 prospect or best QB in the state by any means.
  22. Rivals put an article out about the Future 50 event. Regarding UT related recruits the good reports were James Brockermeyer, Quay Davis, Billy Bowman at DB, Tony Grimes, and Camar Wheaton. The negative reports were for Savion Byrd and Landon Jackson. https://n.rivals.com/news/mind-of-mike-deep-dl-and-other-future-50-observations
  23. TFB says Quay is all Texas and if he doesn't end up in the class it would Texas choice ( a distinct possibility)
  24. 2021 looks to be the class that could be a number one ranked in the nation? Wheaton, Quay, Brockermeyer, Jackson to kick shit off?
  25. Eh, Quay seems to be trying to avoid/mitigate a circus recruitment while Cain was more of an "is he a good RB?" (he is!).
