  1. Listening to the Mike Roach podcast, seems like Quay wants to commit to Texas but take more visits. Seems like Texas wants him in the class but doesn’t want another commit and decommit situation. “Situation is fluid”.
  2. Confirmed Elite Day attendees (IT) OL Tommy Brockermeyer, FW All Saints OL James Brockermeyer, FW All Saints ATH Billy Bowman Jr, Denton Ryan (TEXAS) DE/OLB Ja’Tavion Sanders, Denton Ryan (TEXAS) WR Quay Davis, Dallas Skyline LB Terrence Cooks, Alvin Shadow Creek LB Derrick Harris, New Caney (TEXAS) DE/OLB Landon Jackson, Pleasant Grove WR Teddy Knox, Woodlands DL Shemar Turner, Desoto Shemar Turner has been added
  3. Yeah, it's gotta be Auburn. Following Davis.
  4. Anecdotal evidence that Juan Davis is good
  5. Not sure with Davis and McRee already committed.
  6. If this is a 2021, guessing either Davis or Milroe.
  7. CB for Davis. Looks like it’s him.
  8. The kid is extremely talented on both sides of the ball, but with Davis and Helm also in this class (with Davis I see as more of a TE than any other position), I feel like Sanders should be working at Jack If you look at Davis and Sanders, both being ATH and projecting to TE/Jack, Sanders is the better pass rusher and Davis is the better TE imo.
  9. Add me to the list for preferring Dematrius Davis over Preston Stone. Davis has performed against much better competition. Davis looks to have a stronger arm, but it might just be that Stone has a bad tendency to not step into throws. And Davis doesn't look like he might get broken in half. The potential to bring with him a 5* WR is the cherry on top.
  10. Disagree. Give me Earle, Ketron Jackson, and whichever of Quay or Hal Presley. Maybe we can snag Pazon one of the Louisiana kids that LSU doesn't take. I like Knox but nothing about him is really rare.
  11. No surprise, but Davis now following Lawrence and Abiara.
  12. The critical Juan Davis content this board needs

  16. Mike Roach CB Juan Davis to Texas
  17. I've seen a lot of talk about not loving the WR targets/takes but my question is - who outside of Jojo Earle and Quay Davis who is a screaming take? Bryson Green? JJ Henry? Hal Pressley? Elijah Bean? Dylan Goffney? A lot of the same people that are questioning the Cain take are talking about Sturdivant needing an offer. Let's be clear Sturdivant has had A LOT more training and coaching with a lesser frame (shorter arms) and almost identical testing numbers. If you are championing Studivant and not liking the Cain take, that seems like it's about rankings because I think Cain has more upside/potential. Alexis' ranking places him behind in state Texas guys like Bryson Green but he's a WAY more athletic and dynamic player. He just happens to have 3 stars right now as well. I'm ok with taking 10.75 100 guys that have a dad that played in the NFL and know what's expected of them in terms of work/dedication. I don't know that I am in love with any of them but if the class is Cain, Alexis, Jackson, and a late riser (Cam Bonner or Knox) while staying on Earle and Quay to the bitter end I'm not hating it either. I still think Quay ends up at Texas in the end, honestly.
  18. Roach is on that Howe, Ketch, Golden, Danny Davis diet.
  19. How is Juan Davis not a composite 4 star by now?!?!
  20. Have we ever had three Davis’s on a team?
  21. No idea honestly. I guess if we look back to guys that Texas has targeted recently and/or talked to pretty consistently through the process. If I say Alton McCaskill can I speak it into existence? :: Ikechukwu Iwunnah David Abiara (ughhh) Erick Cade Keithron Lee extra no idea list :: Byron Young the JUCO OLB/WDE - did he sign anywhere yet? Quay Davis? No idea what the hell to even think here. I'd say with the insane numbers that have hit the portal in just the past 8-10 days that you'll likely see guys from there.
  22. Just take King, Arroyo, and Davis. Davis seems like a guy that is just fucking good at football that can probably play offense or defense. Just take all 3. Fuck it...
  23. So early potential outlook is Mcree at TE, Davis as TE #2 / big slot, Davis is in and JoJo Earle. Would that be it or would we also take a big WR like Neville?
  24. It better not be Juan Davis.. he's the sleeper of this class.. He's a baller
