Tough day. I. covered the Spurs from 1996-2014. I saw the franchise, which had always been on the cusp of getting the crown, but never getting over the hump, as runner-up. Losing to the Washington in

I knew this day was coming sooner than later. It's still hard. IMO, Pop is the greatest NBA coach/executive of all time. (Spare me the Red Auerbach/Phil Jackson talk today.) I'm sure I've told th

Salvaged a bit of that quarter but yeah, 14 turnovers gave them 24 points. Yeesh. Clean that up and they can still win.

Castle is such a beast. I can’t imagine what he’s going to be in another year or so.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him fix his shooting issues within the next couple of years.

Some teams have three serviceable bigs, some teams have one. I would take Mo Bamba at this point.

Petty sure he will. There's nothing wrong with his form. Just needs reps and coaching.

Can we get Dallas on the line and get Gafford?

Really missing Zach Collins tonight.

If Memphis was playing a good team tonight they'd be getting smoked

Yeah we're playing like fucking ass. Only reason we are in it is because they are too.

I swear to God Sochan was like "God dammit I have to make this these guys are ass tonight"

Wemby please don't do that.

Also Sochan is right that should be a foul on triple J.

I know you love him, but he’s a big part of the problem right now.

He's been okay.

Just saying this is a nigjt we need him to hit those.

On fire from three tonight. Keep up the shit talking por favor.

Can Sochan please add hitting the open corner 3 to his repertoire. Pretty please.

Memphis is on a back to back. Bring energy in this quarter and maybe a win is possible.

KJ keeps getting dogwalked by a dude averaging 6 fucking ppg.

He’s such a fucking awful defender. Every time there’s a miscommunication or fuck up in rotation, he’s in the middle of it. I’d almost rather have Zach Collins. Almost.

Knew we were going to lose the game with that lineup in. Can we send Pop to Germany for some stem cells or something?

He is a major reason we suck at guarding the 3 pt line.

GG Jackson. Selected in the second round, one pick after the kid we just traded.

Maybe we’re lucky again and Keldon gets shipped out before the deadline.

Mitch has no fucking idea what he's doing right now.

Is Scottie Pippens kid fucking Michael Jordan’s ex or is Michael Jordan’s kid fucking Scottie’s ex? I get it all confused and frankly, it’s more interesting than this game right now.

I said this last time the Spurs played the Grizzlies, but they're just a much better team than the Spurs right now. All of their guys are playing really well. I don't think more than 2 or 3 of our guys would get playing time on their team.

Zero energy. Zero effort. No adjustments. Bad lineups.

And we look like this way too often. It's like once every 5 or 6 games.

Fox ain't gonna fix all of this.

Also don't get why Mamu doesn't get more run. There's no way he's worse than Keldon tonight if you give him 24 mins.

This GG Jackson dude came in shooting fucking 31% from the floor and 21% from 3 and gave us 27.

I was at Saturday's game against Miami and was hoping DV would have a strong showing since we'd obviously need a primary scorer with Wemby out ill. He went 8/22 and 1/10 from 3PT. Keldon went 5/14. Both were needed to pick up some slack  the last 2 games as Wemby gets over this, and both have been inefficient chuckers. Frustrating. Hopefully cutting both their attempts down helps this team out.

Yeah he's going to be really good. 5 turns last night was bad, and he fouled out against Miami - but stuff like that is mainly inexperience. If the shooting improves and he cleans up some of the bad plays he has pretty clear all-star potential.

Castle named ROTM. We keep talking about his shooting needing work, but I'm so impressed with his demeanor, defense, and his ability to get in the lane to finish and draw fouls. But the thing I'm most surprised about is his ability to find open guys with passes that are not obvious or easy. His feel for the game is next level. When that shot comes around.... look the fuck out.

Excited to get our first look at Fox tonight plus the potential bonus of handing ATL a loss hopefully on their way to the lottery.

Someone explain why Chris Paul is starting with Fox?

🦊 unlocks a lot for us. And his ability to simply stay in front of somebody and not get blown by on defense leads to fewer breakdowns.
