Worthy said in the post game that he runs that route/play in practice and the D plays it well because they see it all the time. So he knew they hadnβt seen it and that he knew it was going to work. ππ€πΌ Hey! Thatβs me! Yeah, weβll weβve taken the last 3 pretty hard so itβs their turn to be bitter. At least they have that sweet culture to fall back on. π¬ Iβmβ¦ ok.

I was hit or miss, the signal seemed to come in waves, but overall it was working enough to see scores. I was also 15 rows under the AT&T sign and there was a signal booster close by. That being said, I like that the focus during that game is on the game itself with little to no bullshit outside of small asides for dedications and whatnot. At DKR, I'd just like the band to be featured more than the DJ music and get rid of Cole and find someone that will give the old school announcing a try.

...because all other games that day are meaningless, and you have a phone I presume.

I think Tennessee can do it, but for some reason it feels like a trap game, where we find ourselves watching the final minutes of the game with Bama up by 21 and the Tennessee fans asking themselves what happened. Plus, that Safety with the arrest is 100% playing in this game, I'd bet the house on it. I'm still taking Bama. Saban is Saban for a reason and his teams find ways to win. Either way, it should be fun. The one thing that bugs me is the turnover margin for Bama. They need to protect the ball better. Is Bama a good team or do they just out talent everybody? I think they are ripe for an upset, but I think they get up for this game like no other and find a way.

Any golf fans find this a surprisingly simple explanation on how to focus while kicking putting? Visualization of all the moving parts and seeing the kick go in before it's kicked. I kicked FGs in HS and tried to do this as best I could, but this really resonates with me for golf, or any situation where focus is needed. Dudes a beast... and a Longhorn Legend. π€

I Have a video of it I took from the empty Sooner end zone thatβs awesome. Iβll try to post it later.

It was. Iβm still kind of shocked honestly. Itβs as if the gods asked someone from Surly what their wet dream of a TX/OU game outcome would be and made it so. Fuck yes! Fuck OU! Hookβem π€πΌ

I ate their too but we were at the head table and knew the owner. Our total for 5 guys was $5,118.23. π³ But the owner discounted down to $1.,487.82. BUTβ¦ Dude. We had a 7 course meal that includedβ¦ the largest shrimp scampi, oysters and Cavier, crab rigatoni, grilled king crab, waygu prosciutto, steak, grilled asparagus, 6 different desserts, and $2600 of wine. We drank 10 bottles. Best meal Iβve ever had. Boner fuel.

Ewers. Card has done what a good back up should, keep the offense rolling as best he can and hope the D keeps you in it. Now that the starter is ready, you let him take the reins back over. If he looks rusty or isn't in game shape, you let the backup QB do his job again.

I suck at this but here is my humble submission. Thanks for all the content and laughs, fellas! π€

BJ Johnson, one of my favorite players of all time. π€ Sad, that the O couldn't just say fuck it, and run their own plays. Davis and Mack were the definition of "Turtle" in this game. Hit them in the mouth and keep doing it until they stop you. Just win, Baby!
-
We, too, thought Davis called shitty games. VY and Colt were godsends to Davis, and Mack for that matter.

We're the evil empire to everyone, it's what they do, so I embrace it. As a Yankee fan, it comes with the territory. Naw, it'll stay up because nobody gives a fuck about this guy and his opinion, other than those that already know him and share his opinion. Leaving this conference is like divorcing an abusive partner. The marriage had lots of potential, but the constant nagging, finger-pointing and bullshit we've had to endure since 1996 has worn down the last strongholds we had to stay. So, we're leaving and taking the dog with us to our new place, but while we make our exit and finalize the paperwork, the spouse wants to keep getting digs in because they have nothing else to fall back on. Which is fine, and we'll be fine. My thoughts on leaving the conference are that I will miss ISU, OkSt, KSU and KU, but that's it. But, honestly now and after we leave the Big XII my thoughts overall are...

Can't make the HH, but told my SIL and her husband about it and they are stoked! π€ SIL is from Oklahoma and surrounded by nothing but OU, Aggy, and Tech fans. She's the one bright spot in a sea of gross and she bleed burnt orange. BEAT OU!

Fuck that reverse jinx bullshit by those assholes. Defense needs to eat this game, and our RBs need to break their D's will to play the game. Go ahead early and never look back. π€π Different, just like everyone else. Yup! Dumb when Mack said it, and dumb for him to say it. I'm sure OU (sucks) will be wishcasting that he just says that for the media and to not give any bulletin board material, but we know Mack meant it, and if I was in their shoes I'd be nervous about each RRS going forward with Venables. That being said, I hope Venables is John Blake 2.0. π€

That poor kid being a meme forever sucks (like ou), but the chef's kiss is that the kid is sandwiched between a crumpled pack of Marlboro's in the back pocket of the Mom jeans on the right and the cargo shorts on the left. "But, Dad said we could get a snow cone! Yeah, well, that was in the first quarter."
-
The loss to tech sucked but that stadium was still full and loaded, as you said for most of the game, However, the end of the 3rd quarter people were leaving and by the time the 4th was almost over, my section was a ghost town. Not all the improvements are lost on me, but maybe people are leaving early in a win because they are tired of all the ancillary bullshit being heaped upon them. You give me the Cotton Bowl environment in Austin and I'll buy a decades worth of season tickets today. Not everyone has to be entertained like a 5-14 year old. Austin is full of stuff like that and people are welcome to go enjoy those types of events instead of trying to make the football game about catering to the entire family. It doesn't need to be said because I'm preaching to the choir, but shit, Royal said it best about our uniforms, but it applies to the gameday experience as well. Don't candy this shit up, these are work clothes. I'm glad you had a nice experience and I'm glad that your family had a nice time. That still doesn't change the fact that people most likely leave early because the "experience" they are getting is tiresome and they'd rather do something else once the game is decided. I love The University of Texas, but knowing all the stuff I'm going to have to put up with inside the stadium makes my big TV and cool AC an attractive offer. Honestly, the guy below makes a great point... Fucking A, homie. Favorite game of the year. #1 complaint heard numerous times on Saturday... "Another stoppage? Damn, this is going to take forever." From both Texas and WV fans. How about we just play the games and let those greed mofos buy score ad space like soccer does and just play the damn game? Or run ads on the side while the game keeps rolling? Money hungry bitches.
-
I was confident last year going into the game and very much so the way we started the game, but fuck any positive thoughts on this Texas team/staff. Show me, don't tell me, mofos. π€ If we can somehow figure out a way for the D to get to the QB we should have a great day. 1 point or 100, it don't make a shit, just win baby. π€
-
CYA, for when Venables runs Gabriel out there to get another concussion trying to do whatever it takes. π Please smash this OU team into a dark, wandering-the-desert type of misery for the next 10-15 years. LET'S GO HORNS!!!! π€
-
I went to the WV game and I'm glad we won, but the game "experience" is absolute trash. You can barely hear the band or you hear them twice because of the feedback/delay. I heard 2 Texas! Fight! chants and ZERO "Beat OU!". The amount of commercial stops was annoying but it's like they can't have any silence for fear that the crowd might actually enjoy the break in ad bombardment or shitty house music being blared over the speakers. I gladly pay the money to go to the Cotton Bowl each year, because it's like going to a real football game. Hey, Bellmont: Feel free to have the outside of the stadium be a bastien for carnival rides, food and entertainment. But, for the love of God, please bring back Texas Football inside the stadium. We are there to watch the team play the GAME. Remember the reason people are there? A game is being played. Fuck your half baked cookies, your shitty choice in music, and fuck any piped in bullshit that drowns out the school band, you greedy, money-hungry bunch of dipshits. I can't wait to get to Dallas and experience the best game day experience in College Football.

So, literally anything can happen, regardless of the outcome on Saturday in the Cotton Bowl. Cool, thanks.
