  1. DSA's style was much more like chrispy than fozzzzzzzzzzz
  2. Rogue one is the only good star wars movie, people highly over rate the originals.
  3. Watched S1 3 or 4 times, just started it again last night due to poor planning and not knowing the new season started so soon. I am also one of those that is apprehensive of continuing the story, I thought it ended perfectly. I'll get to the new episode later this week. The end of episode 4 when Woodley is running and jumps off the cliff is one of the most emotionally resonant moments in TV for me. Hits me hard every time I see it. Other than that, all the therapist scenes stand out as well. Just a really outstanding series that I hope can continue to be outstanding.
  4. The president reads? Lol OK
  5. At THE Kansas State University, we are known for our award winning meat goats.
  6. Noticed network is on netflix for now, definitely recommended
  7. I've watched 2 episodes so far and it's so soul crushing that I don't know if I want to continue.
  8. I liked it but 2 characters stood out to me that I didn't like. Harry Manning is going to try something that bold? Really? And Connie is a priest now? Really? (perhaps this was a different character...) Other than that I was satisfied.
  9. Watched it all yesterday, very enjoyable. Like a pg-13 American gods
  10. Abortion should be legal, safe, and fully taxpayer funded. Just like nearly all other medical procedures.
  11. fuck it, let's bash
  12. This is pretty great. Laughed out loud multiple times
  13. I watched this really low budget "fake" documentary called "the history of time travel". Really interesting idea. It's shot like a history channel tv show about a guy who invents time travel during the cold war and the unexpected consequences of the discovery. Kinda similar to "Confederate states of America", if you've seen that. Low budget and bad actors but well done and worth a watch if you're into that sort of thing. Oh, and the writer/director is from Stephen F Austin.
  14. Jailbirds is so fascinating and also ridiculous
  15. The amazing thing about leftovers is all 3 season finales also would have been beautiful series finales.
  16. I don't understand this point, what time constraints are you talking about? The rigid 22/42 minute episode or that a season is released all at once? Streaming has allowed more creativity imo.
  17. Yes. A faithful adaption of the book would have been a bad movie. A book version of the movie would probably be pretty bad too. As is, I enjoy both quite a bit. The race is still amazing every time I see it. I bought an atmos system a few years ago and the 4k blu-ray with atmos soundtrack is the best home theater experience I've had thus far.
  18. Each season gets better imo, but I was hooked later in S1. S3 is just really great tv. The budget also gets larger each season. Some of the cgi/production value in S1 is obviously very budget limited and feels cheap at times. I would love to see this with a proper budget.
  19. I don't believe any of that actually happened, Kevin just accepted her for who she is by "believing" her.
  20. 6 feet under is probably the best Leftovers is close Dexter is easily the worst.
  21. The expanse is excellent. I'm in the middle of s3 and stuff from s1&2 is really starting to pay off. Very glad Amazon decided to pick this up after syfy canceled it. tbh I would probably never watch something on syfy so getting canceled might be a positive turn. If this was on hbo or Netflix from day one it would probably be extremely popular. Basic premise is humans have colonized the solar system with earth and Mars as the two powers in a cold war. I heard one person describe it as game of thrones set in space and that's a fairly good analogy. Tons of politicking, espionage, murder, and sweet zero-g action.
  22. The epilogue made everything alright imo. I'm very happy with where everyone ends up. Yes it was rushed and that sucks, but ultimately I like where this went.
  23. I've been working my way through the books on audible and feast starting out with an hour long damphair chapter killed my desire to continue just 20 minutes into the book. That was a few months ago. I'll eventually get back to it, but ugh.

    High

Go the extra week and totally reset your tolerance then get blown away by how easily you get high again. Been about 2 years since I've had a break, looking at maybe doing a no weed June. Probably won't, but I'll think about it.
  25. A cold nutty buddy has been my breakfast more times than I'd like to admit.
