  1. I’m not a snitch.
  2. Because we’re Texas, and the refs will flag us every time.
  3. To answer that question….. http://dalecentersouthernmiss.wordpress.com/2021/11/03/the-tooth-to-tail-ratio-and-modern-army-logistics/
  4. *after rebate.
  5. Those “humpbacks” have thumb functioning hammers - they are just shrouded on the side of the frame. Here’s a good deal for a Colt Cobra .38 Special - $669.99 with $100 rebate: http://grabagun.com/firearms/handguns/revolvers/colt-firearms-night-cobra-revolver-38-special-p-2-barrel-6-rounds.html
  6. Jfc……those CoA Austin grifters are just shitstains.
  7. I was born in Georgia before President Roosevelt croaked in Warm Springs. Got out of there within three weeks and haven’t been back since. No regrets at all.
  8. While attending ITESM in the early 1960s I saw the Rams play Texarkana JC (lost to the gringos 50-0).
  9. Hudson High is a beautiful place. I haven’t been there since 1950.
  10. Concur - a very good choice, although the Ruger would be too. I’m partial to lightweight for conceal carry. Mine is a Model 38 Airweight - bought it from a LEO 25 years ago who used it as a backup for his Kimber .45.
  11. Haven’t been to the range or the family land to shoot mine yet. A grandson has his eyes on it though.
  12. How’s that SA 1911 shootin’?
  13. I’ve been here since 1959. I wouldn’t walk across the street to see LBJ, so no political clowns interest me.
  14. Never have seen one of these Porsches before
  15. That blatant cheat/incompetence cost Texas the game.
  16. [cue the flying pigs gif]

    Getting old sucks

    No shit.
  18. Is Bill Bunch and his SOS still trying to stop construction of the new convention center.
  19. As a fellow Hilltopper, it is good to hear that about him.
  20. My HOA forced me to remove half my “unapproved” xeriscaping several years ago at a cost of $3,500. Some neighborhood newbie who wanted to do the same (and was rejected) complained 11 years after I had the gravel laid down over the dead St. Augustine. A year after that, The M.U.D. Xeriscaped the median in the main neighborhood thoroughfare. FML
  21. Mrs. Brat bakes some damn good cookies and was a talented baton twirler/drum major, but I dunno if she dropped the baton that much (no titty pics).
  22. BTW - Smoot and his frat brothers were drunk at the time, which prompted the “historic” incident.
  23. I knew Oliver Smoot. We both attended Taipei American School in Taiwan during the late 1950s. He was a senior while I was a freshman. After he graduated he went back stateside to attend MIT. Never heard anything about him until my brother met up with him at a TAS reunion 30 years ago. Then 20 years ago after I started messing around on the Internet, saw the MIT story about the Smoot “measurement” and it’s funny origin. This was our original campus in downtown Taipei then (the school moved to a large suburban campus in the 1960s):
