  1. Sark has a script, he will freestyle later in the game.
  2. Stewart Mandel No. 15 Texas (-7) at Arkansas, 7 p.m. (ESPN) All summer, the question I kept hearing was, will Texas start 0-2? I predicted 1-1, but after the way the ‘Horns looked last week, I’m ready to say 2-0. Arkansas could prove me wrong, as DC Barry Odom often has answers for a more talented foe, but I can’t see the Razorbacks having much success on offense. Texas 26, Arkansas 14
  3. Bruce Feldman No. 15 Texas (-7) at Arkansas, 7 p.m. (ESPN) I’m surprised this spread was as close as it was. The Hogs handled Rice last week but this Texas team has a lot more firepower, led by star running back Bijan Robinson, and I’m not sure Arkansas, which has had all sorts of problems against the run the past couple of years, will be able to slow him down. Texas 27, Arkansas 17
  4. The Athletic Betting Line Texas at Arkansas odds, expert picks, betting trends: After impressive win, Bijan Robinson and Longhorns go on the road By The Athletic College Football Sep 8, 2021 3 As far as first games with a new coach and quarterback go, Texas’ win against Louisiana was a good one. Now, the Longhorns go on the road to take on an SEC opponent in Arkansas. Hudson Card threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns in his first career start to give coach Steve Sarkisian in his debut. Running back Bijan Robinson was the star of the show, racking up 173 total yards in a 38-18 win over a then-ranked Louisiana team. Arkansas struggled with Rice before blowing it open in the fourth quarter. The Razorbacks were tied with Rice going into the fourth quarter. The Arkansas defense got three interceptions in the fourth, leading to a lopsided 38-17 final score. This game kicks off on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. 5. The best thing about Surly Horns (after Burnt Ends) is the ability to crowd ban trolls and idiots. These piggies that have gotten the hammer are from below Dante's lowest level of hell.
  6. From the Atlantic betting story No. 21 Texas at Arkansas – 7 p.m. Saturday on ESPN TEAM SPREAD TOTAL MONEYLINE Texas -6.0 57 -225 Arkansas +180 It’s understandably going to take more than one win for Texas to believe in Steve Sarkisian. But beating Louisiana is a good first step towards some trust. Handling a future conference foe wouldn’t be a bad second rung, and oddsmakers think the Longhorns can do it, favoring them by six points at Arkansas. Hudson Card threw for 224 yards two touchdowns in his first career start while Bijan Robinson racked up 173 scrimmage yards in a 38-18 win over the Ragin’ Cajuns. Texas was consistent offensively, converting 10 of 15 third downs and producing points on nine possessions. UT also outscored Louisiana 24-12 in the second half. The defense held UL to four third-down conversions on 13 tries, 2-for-4 in the red zone, as well as four sacks and one turnover. Arkansas started slowly in Week 1, trailing Rice at halftime before blowing the game open for a 38-17 win. Quarterback K.J. Jefferson was streaky in the opener and operated more as a complement to a run game that produced 245 yards. Trelon Smith had 102 of those with a rushing touchdown, topping triple-digit yards for the third time in five games dating back to last season. Arkansas’ defense forced three turnovers in the second half, two by Jalen Catalon. However, that unit was also responsible for eight of Arkansas’ 13 penalties against Rice. Arkansas will need to be more disciplined and avoid giving Texas extra chances on the road to beat Texas.

  8. With respect to Collins playing time. IT thought that perhaps the coaches were sending him a message.
  9. Completely agree with this. Sark called off the dogs so as not to embarrass ULL and Napier spit the bit and acted like a little bitch.
  10. Receiver stumbled on the into the end zone. Throw was where he should have been.

  14. I'll try to finish the season for the 1st time. The Charlie Strong era took a lot out of me.

  18. We should treat it like an indulgence. The Vatican has been doing that for centuries.
  19. Great picture! Our seats were in the first row of the North End Zone and I felt like he was running straight at me down the sidelines. Fuck Arkansas and Chip Brown.
