  1. No, I don't personally own cows. There are ranches in my family, my office is across the hall from a guy with land in several states that includes ranches, and I've got some drinking buddies who are ranch hands. Raising any kind of livestock is not easy and even in good times the risks of the investment going to waste are pretty high unless you know what you're doing and have convenient access to supplies and access to the right medicine and the right care. Raising cows that people want to buy and eventually eat, according to the people who do it for a living, is a lot of hard work.
  2. until they all get killed by screwworms or some disease our government mismanages. then you got a bunch of unpayable vet bills and carcass disposal expenses
  3. It's very hard to project, but I'm thinking they will be good enough to make the play-in, if not a playoff spot. We've not seen the team at full strength. A few losses as they figure out how to play together, but if they stay healthy and "click" they will be extremely good
  4. There's probably an unwritten rule that you can't go to a rival of a Manning alma mater, which would rule out UGA, Bama, and OU I'd think. Probably also aggy. Florida might work.
  5. Okie Lite is P4 in Name Only. Always going to have tablescraps even in its own state. No NIL opportunities. Not a desirable place to be a college aged person. Big XII maybe gives you a chance to make the playoffs but you'll really never be able to compete, not when there are huge party schools like Arizona State and UCF, or schools in major cities like TCU and U of H. Might as well get it overwith and move to MWC.
  6. The dark money right wing have severely overestimated how much normal people cared about Charlie Kirk, to say nothing about whether anyone liked the guy
  7. I was watching football all day, and wouldn't even have known except I stopped in at a gas station and this crap was playing on one of the TVs
  8. Starting to see this pop up more in the recommendations. Crazy to think that exactly one year and a few hours ago he had no idea that in the next few months he'd get embarrassed by JMU 70-50, get replaced by Bill Bellichik, and start a podcast with his best player and Bob Ballou about the other school that fired you. Might watch the back catalog to see if Mack drops the sunshine act and opens the fuck up.
  9. yeah i struggled with this but if we win out we get playoffs so fuck ou
  10. For every one of these, there are a dozen equally stupid things said by the right but for some reason nobody ever pretends as if the republican party needs to answer for them
  11. Hate to say it but he had firm control while inbounds
  12. I don't think AT&T could afford the NIL for that
  13. I gotta say Deepfake AI has really improved. This Kumail Nanjiani commercial for DirecTV with Rob McElhenney includes a realistic-looking video clip of Ryan Wingo actually catching a pass. This has terrifying implications for democracy.
  14. Tom Homan is dirty? NO FUCKING WAY!
  15. Has anyone been able to check in on her
  16. He wasn't fired, he just ran out of time
  17. It's better than whatever Schumer and Jeffries claim to be doing
  18. Pathetic
  19. The only people willing to hire him are Prager and Ben Shapiro, which means he doesn't have much of a career and is fully dependent on podcast sponsors and right wing donors.
  20. Imagine being compared to Pat McAfee but he's the real deal and you're the knockoff.
  21. Tucker is much, much smarter than Trump. Which is what makes him very dangerous if he were to have political aspirations. Unlike Trump, Tucker Carlson understands that you need the support of the masses before you graduate from G5 to P4 authoritarian fascism. If you make the leap without the resources to do so, the program falls apart. Karl Rove on the other hand, I don't know what his deal is these days.
  22. They can work but usually don't. Most Americans are addicted to ESPN. All of the networks would have done the exact same thing, though. Corporate officers are all spineless and only care about remaining in the 1%
