  1. This is, without a doubt, the worst thing any former USC football star has done.
  2. Jimbo Fisher never had to worry about that

  4. The roller coaster will still roller coaster. Not worried about aggy in the slightest.
  5. On the "write-off" mindset, probably not wise to take a flyer with Arch's first season
  6. Bellichik can be co-OC with Pete Carroll
  7. Can we FOIA the OL practice itineraries and tape? It would be helpful as a guide of what not to do
  8. I powered through because I know of at least one superfan who wasn't fortunate enough to do so, so I felt a special sense of duty
  9. I actually thought Wingo looked much better today. That's about the only good thing I saw. That and Caldwell.
  10. That is true. I just don't think he would make the shortlist because he lacks a track record of consistency. If he wins another conference title, or makes deep playoff run, maybe that changes.
  11. Love this guy. His story is incredible. He is not ready for Texas.
  12. Being a great coach at another program doesn't necessarily translate to being a great or even good coach at Bellmont. It's all of the responsibilities of your old job, with ten times the expectations, plus the politics of running a Fortune 500 company. On top of that, it's now open season on your best players who can be poached away if they're not happy, which in a sense was always true in college sports but has been ramped up with NIL. The right man has to be able to recruit talent, motivate effectively, and more than anything else assemble and manage a team of assistants and coordinators who demand perfect execution. Who besides Nick Saban has those qualifications?
  13. if you're lucky enough for ESPN to actually have the camera pointed at the game
  14. Would've been much cooler if he got road rash riding around with the mistress. 2/10 do better
  15. that must be legendary rudeness for the doordasher to be like "you know what, I'm stabbing this motherfucker"
  16. "Isolated incident, not a random act of violence" + intimate weapon = personal beef, personal score, very plausible that it's over a woman
  17. This gonna be a Bobby Petrino situation?
  18. Aledo seemingly on the ropes here
  19. I agree with you, but remember most of us on this Board are educated, successful, and competent. The rest of the country? They get medical advice from podcasters, play squid games for YouTubers, and twice elected an insurrectionist child rapist who openly campaigned on fascism. They neither want, nor deserve, serious people.
  20. Keldon is a "spark guy," but incredibly inconsistent. He needs to get better or have his minutes given to Bryant
  21. San Antonio Spurs 2025-2026: "Oh yeah. It's all coming together."
  22. I guess this is the basic issue. Most people have very little spare time, and they want to spend it with family or pursuing other passions. Plus how much land would they need to graze? Most people who own their own homes probably don't have a huge lot even if the state made it legal to use any land for ag/farming purposes. So you'd need to keep the cattle somewhere away from home and commute possibly long distances in order to tend to them, before you could turn around and sell them for the anticipated profit. That's a time suck, on time of the money suck, especially if you'll be hauling supplies some of the time. At a certain point it makes more sense to outsource to full time ranch hands, which adds to overhead and eats into profits.
  23. No, I don't personally own cows. There are ranches in my family, my office is across the hall from a guy with land in several states that includes ranches, and I've got some drinking buddies who are ranch hands. Raising any kind of livestock is not easy and even in good times the risks of the investment going to waste are pretty high unless you know what you're doing and have convenient access to supplies and access to the right medicine and the right care. Raising cows that people want to buy and eventually eat, according to the people who do it for a living, is a lot of hard work.
