  1. What on earth? Pull your pretty heads out.
  2. There were many grande plays in this game. One of the biggest was when Arch rolled right and delivered that perfect strike to Alan Jackson inches from the sideline. First and ten, do it again.
  3. Once the early rash of penalties got cleaned up, our offense steadied for the rest of the game. Brooks and the rest of the OL were a huge part of the surge, as were Wisner and Manning. A very good day overall, given how it's been going.
  4. We are bewilderingly undisciplined and in general not a smart team.
  5. When Arch was a backup, Sark didn't mind the risk of running him in certain packages. Now that he's starting, it's as if the risk is too great. I absolutely didn't anticipate that coming into the season. With a porous OL, it's past time to unshackle those legs.
  6. Without flags, some good things occasionally happen with our offense. Not often, occasionally.
  7. Lots of options: safety, pick six and an OU wrong-way return are most likely.
  8. Penalties, blown assignments and bad play calls. This is straight up ineptitude on both sides of the ball.
  9. Any time Bellinger ends his team's season with a K, it's a pretty good year.
  10. I love watching Texas play, so when we dominate in straight sets without many long rallies I feel a bit cheated. But after this one, I doubt I'll be whining about our next blowout win.
  11. Spears needs to come alive.
  12. Not much happening in the middle so far.
  13. Any speculation about a Houston title in 2026 can be put to rest.
  14. At least get Bo Davis on Zoom.
  15. Ol' Snakey finally did the Gomers a favor after handing us another cream puff schedule.
  16. All that preseason chatter about our defense breaking sack records now seems a million years ago. Have Collins, Burke, Spence and Hill really combined for just 2.5 sacks in 5 games? That total literally would have been an average Saturday for Kiki DeAyala.
  17. Texas women's sports in general are strong more often than not any more, and drama is rare. That counts for a lot with me. Those sports are also less (at least visibly) transactional, which is another big plus. Rivals will try to dismiss our women's success as some kind of consolation prize when the football program is going sideways, but that's just part of being a flagship in this part of the world. As Longhorn fans, our cup still runneth over.
  18. This 4th set has been really tight. TO with Louisville up 17-15.
  19. The euthanasia is complete.
  20. She's been trucking some fools lately. Her eyes get really big on those middle lollipops.
  21. We've awakened. But MSU will always have that sleepwalking span by Texas to look back on fondly.
  22. Lethargic second set thus far. Pick it up.
  23. With the way football's been looking, and with my MLB team on extended vacay, it's great to have volleyball cracking skulls and softball and women's hoops getting tuned up for 2026.
  24. Pitching Montero in this situation is a bold strategy, Cotton.
  25. Too late to edit, so let me just say here that I don't know Brenda and thus am not sure if her triangle even has a vortex.
