  1. I realize Semien's first single started the game on a bad note, but that jammed blooper by Seager probably is what triggered the landslide. Framber's current psyche doesn't seem well equipped to deal with bad luck.
  2. This game is so ridiculously lost we might as well win it.
  3. Altuve said that with everything going on, and not thinking Bregman's ball would be caught, he just forgot to touch second again. Water under the bridge now. Let's hope he makes up for if today.
  4. Baseball historians will stand in awe of the three straight perfectos they're about to throw to finish us off. We won't even achieve an exit velo faster than Dusty's walks to the mound.
  5. Regardless of the box score, I felt a couple of those guys had some decent ABs last night. Tucker was not one of those. Sure hope he bounces back today. Might take just one good swing.
  6. Kyle's in a bad slump? Put him at #3. I mean, hopefully it works, but at the moment I'd rather see Uncle Mike there.
  7. Especially if your Walmart is in that aggy hotbed widely known as Haiti.
  8. Played? More like he attended the game without buying a ticket.
  9. That was a pretty embarrassing display. A bunch of guys crapped their britches tonight.
  10. This game is so annoying I think something good might still happen.
  11. Misspelled Crane, Baker and possibly Brown.
  12. Watching that AB, I felt I was watching a creeping steamroller kill a snail.
  13. Thinking Chas or Pena will be breaking the RBI ice tonight. Needs to still be 1-0 when that happens.
  14. I don't either against this bunch. They hammer mistakes, and at this juncture a flat middle fastball is a mistake.
  15. The team is ready. This thread is ready. Let's light this candle.
  16. Whether that kid turns out to hit like Mickey Mantle or Mickey Mouse, his sample size was (and remains) microscopic. Dominguez probably will be a good hitter. Diaz is already much farther on his way to proving he is one.
  17. What triggers us would trigger even the most casual observer of any team: playing inferior players over superior ones, all for "reasons" that amount to gibberish. I don't think anyone would have trouble seeing that as a way to get harsh reactions. As for "small sample size," that's a hilarious take coming from the guy who pronounced The Martian a superstar after a cup of coffee in AAA.
  18. Is that you, Commissioner Yormark?
