  1. Funny how rival fanbases opinion of Arch's skill level is purely dependent on their (perceived) ability to get him on their team. I look forward to "Arch sucks" returning in about a week or so.
  2. If the committee uses a blind resume argument then it’s us and FSU due to our H2H with Bama. If they use an “eye test” then it’s us and Bama. In a sane world, there’s no defense for keeping us out in any scenario. But I know I won’t believe it until I see it.
  3. I will never recover from being left out in favor of this FSU team.
  4. I shouldn't be, but I am continuously amazed at the Republicans ability to fuck up simple decisions. I made my post after ALL Republican leadership came out in favor of Santos, so I figured it was a done deal. They've lost a number from their majority, yet somehow Democrats will still be able to credibly say that Republican leadership supported Santos's shenanigans. Just incredible stuff.
  5. This motherfucker is gonna skate through. 2024 needs to be the year of Santos - every single person who votes not to expel him needs to be labeled as supporters of every single crime this bitch has committed.
  6. The way Biden is being treated by the left will almost assuredly result in a more moderate candidate in 2028.
  7. Ready to bet my mortgage on this dude being the nominee in ‘28.
  8. Yeah, pretty certain I will never fret about HS WR recruiting ever again.
  9. Logically I agree with this, but I just refuse to believe that the committee would leave out the SEC.
  10. Kinda think FSU winning/Georgia losing is currently the scenario keeping the committee up at night. Trying to sort out two spots between 13-0 FSU, 12-1 Georgia, 12-1 Alabama, 12-1 Texas is impossible to get right. I suspect FSU and Bama would get it, but good luck to the guy trying to explain why head-to-head matters between Bama/Georgia but not Bama/Texas. I think I've talked myself into believing that both FSU and Georgia losing could result in us getting the 3 seed, with Bama at 4. It would allow them to include all conference champs while still touting the head-to-head advantage that they've promoted all season.
  11. No idea how he’s progressing, but I could not believe he came back in after the hit he took late in the game. There was no question in my mind that he got concussed.
  12. I’ll concede that we want chaos if FSU wins, but I will stand by my statement that we want chalk if they lose.
  13. I tend to agree if you are comparing us with Washington, but I absolutely could see them putting both Bama and Georgia ahead of us if we all have one loss. No idea what happens if Michigan loses but don’t want to find out.
  14. This is incorrect. We are a slam dunk in the scenario I described. But I wouldn’t feel particularly confident in any of the other ones.
  15. A lot of people here are clamoring for chaos. We do NOT want chaos. We want this very neat and tidy. Undefeated Georgia, undefeated Michigan, undefeated Washington. We want Oregon and Bama to have two losses and FSU and Ohio State to be one loss non-conference champs. Anything else put this in the hands of the committee and they have made it very clear, for whatever reason, they do not respect our resume.
  16. My wife's cousin recently passed the bar exam. My dad, completely unprompted: "You know, Kamala Harris failed the bar exam three times...."
  17. If they had announced the Elko hire an hour after the firing of Jimbo, the fanbase would have been apoplectic. Their current positive reaction is more about the events of the last week than it is about Elko.
  18. UH is gonna make a better hire than aggy, aren’t they?
  19. Why is everyone so preoccupied with Oregon? At best, we are currently viewed as a toss up with them in the eyes of the committee. If they add a win against Washington, that will clearly put them ahead. If they don’t, then they’ll fall out of the picture. Just seems like wasted energy worrying about them.
  20. I’m proud to root for this team. There’s never a question of effort. There’s never a question of dedication. Just a bunch of dudes giving it their all on and off the field. I’m proud to wear my Burnt Orange in public these days, and that hasn’t always been the case over the last decade plus. Thanks Sark.
