  1. If this was noteworthy, he could have just saved everyone a lot of time and admitted it was his first football game ever.
  2. I know favorability isn't necessarily a perfect indicator, but are there many instances of someone winning who is this far underwater in comparison to their opponent?
  3. Soros money hit the bank account this morning, planning to vote every day at lunch this week.
  4. I used to care a lot about what other people thought of my sports teams, but as I’ve aged I’ve realized that’s just something to hang your hat on when you don’t win on the field. And if I’m being honest, given where we were a few years ago, it’s sort of refreshing to have a student section THAT into the game that there was a universal, uncoordinated display of disgust at a call that horrendous. The people who already hate us are talking mess about us, THE HORROR.
  5. Yeah, the T-shirt argument always pops up when we are kicking ass. There's no bigger indicator that we are "back" than that video.
  6. Seems like a guy at peak health for sure.
  7. The official video of the interview on Fox News’s website is 26:44. Sounds like stellar time management from the future president!
  8. I’ve seen a few folks say that they think she performs better in a fairly hostile environment than in a friendly one. Her answers in some of the clips I’ve seen tonight seem crisper and stronger than the ones that have come out on her podcast tour. Sort of makes sense, given her background.
  9. In a shocking twist, Republicans think Kamala bombed the interview while Democrats think she did just fine.
  10. Based on what I'm seeing on social media, it appears to be airing right now.
  11. Think it's a pretty safe assumption that he has a standing invitation from the highest levels of University leadership, if we are being honest.
  12. We really need to revise our national elections so that any candidate that gets over 50% wins outright, with a deferral to the electoral college if not. Would encourage national campaigning, increase the importance of third parties, and swing states would still keep their significance in close elections.

  14. At this point, I think there’s a better chance of Jimmy Carter hosting a Univision town hall than Donald Trump.
  15. Rogan isn’t Ben Shapiro or JD Vance, he’s not a bully who thrives on debate. He might frame his questions from a right wing point of view, but he’ll quickly back down and nod along to whatever Kamala says. He might talk shit about her the next day, but he’s not built to make the interview combative.
  16. What’s all this talk tonight about “validating”? Joe Rogan has the number one podcast in the world. There is nothing Kamala could do to validate him more than the general public already has.
  17. The more Democrats ignore the channel, the further from reality those folks can position themselves. It benefits no one to allow that channel to craft its own reality without pushback.
  18. Pretending that the most watched news network in the country doesn’t exist is a Hillary-esque, loser move. The goal isn’t to switch votes, it’s to convince voters that you winning isn’t the end of the world. If you let your opposition define you without pushback, then you cannot be surprised when the general public believes it.
  19. Don't know if anyone else made the connection, but the two types of local ads for Republicans I've seen are: 1) "DEMOCRATS ARE SOFT ON CRIME AND THE CAUSE OF ALL YOUR PROBLEMS IN HARRIS COUNTY" and 2) "I'm a Democrat and the top law enforcement officer in Harris County and I endorse Ted Cruz" It made me chuckle that nothing matters any more.
  20. I fucking hate this guy so much.
  21. They are already attempting to craft dual narratives that will prevent them from having to acknowledge that we might be talented. 1) If we win, then it's obvious that Georgia isn't the same Georgia that usually exists and those damned sips are lucky that the league is having a down year (except for those fighting aggies of course! every SECSECSEC win is proof that Elko and crew are championship material WHOOP!) 2) If Georgia wins, it's obvious that Texas just can't handle being in the SECSECSEC It's wild to watch true masters of their craft at work in real time.
  22. Right now, my vote in Texas means exponentially less than a vote in Pennsylvania when it comes to deciding the president. Sure, the campaign will focus their attention on the big states without the EC, but 1 vote will equal 1 vote no matter where you live.
