  1. If I was Governor of a battleground state that has now become vital to the Republican Party, I simply would not do the one thing that could energize my opponents.
  2. oh so this is going to get ILLEGAL illegal
  3. Sure seems like our most vocal recruiting ringleaders rarely make it to their third year recently.
  4. As someone who also grew up in Sugar Land, the thought of someone being expected to contribute meaningful minutes in the SEC less than two years after leaving FBCA is hilarious.
  5. Fox producer currently sitting with his hand on the big red "DEMOCRATS ACCUSED OF AGEISM" button, waiting to strike.
  6. It's ludicrous that we have all universally accepted that Democrats are the ones that need to solve this very Republican problem.
  7. Crossing threads a bit here, but Abbott is a shining example of why the "we'd be in the exact same place if Hillary beat Trump" argument is nonsense. The country is filled with dudes like Abbott, who learned all the wrong lessons from Trump and went from run-of-the-mill Republicans to acting like they're trying to claim first prize in a cruelty contest.
  8. @Bama Chick, it gets worse... [Louisville gunman] attended the University of Alabama from the fall of 2016 through December 2020, according to Shane Dorrill, UA’s assistant director of communications. [Louisville gunman] completed his undergraduate studies with a double major in finance and economics. He then received a Master’s of Science Degree, also from the University of Alabama.
  9. Shouldn't be too hard on him, he couldn't see what was in the other half of his fridge.
  10. Greg Abbott currently investigating this man's political views to see if he should issue a posthumous pardon.
  11. Wait... are you saying you aren't a fan of the Brantley signing? Your stance on this issue has been unclear, to this point.
  12. Look, people dying is a small price to pay for me to be able to play with my toys.
  13. As a diehard Astros fan, I also love to collect 2022 Phillies merchandise to display in my house. If I walk into your house and see Adolf Hitler's teapot, I'm going to assume my Jewish ass is not welcome, and there will be nothing you can say that will convince me otherwise.
  14. The writers capitalized on the fact that viewers are conditioned to believe that if a death is ambiguous, then the victim usually survives. It's why almost all of us expected Logan to pull through. When in reality, death is almost always how the show portrayed it.
  15. I have never seen those first few moments of getting unexpected bad news so accurately depicted. Just an absolutely riveting hour of television, up there with the best I’ve ever seen.
  16. I've heard some of the individual lines from his freestyles/album inserted in the show, but every song so far in the show has been brand new. Dicky did say in an interview that the song from ep2 was one he wrote outside the show (but never released) and he was excited to find a spot for it in the season.
  17. Second ep was one of the best of the entire series, IMO. Also think if he released that song for real, it would be a mainstream hit.
  18. Every single issue on their end boils down to: "I believe this, therefore everyone else should also believe this." When it is obvious that others do not agree, it is much easier to find a scapegoat than accept that other people might think differently about something. Rather than accept that someone else's brain may be wired to think a different way, it is easier in their simple minds to frame it as others brains were obviously warped by something. Given that many of these differences are apparent by the teenage years, there aren't many obvious targets as to who could have cause the warping. Hence, it was obviously the "woke" schools and "woke" Hollywood and "woke" books and "woke" professors that made them this way.
