  1. She’d beat the ever living fuck outta you for saying that. And me for having that avatar. Southern Baptist woman to her core. But damn could she cook.
  2. My great grandmother died last weekend. She was 106. Spent the first 70 years of her life in Pampa. She is going to be buried there (if anything is left) in June. So, so glad she didn’t see this.
  3. Sebbies are great. I’ve had 5 or 6. Sold most, I still have the Insingo (wharncliff) blade version. Actually carried it today. Also have an Mnandi, and his chef’s knife. mine is a 21, but heard great things about the 31 as well. They are the bar which all other folders are compared against. Get one. (I’d do it in a different blade shape, as I find the tanto pretty useless for anything other than stabbing). the Insingo is the best slicer. Hands down. Why I still have one. Drop point is closely behind. heres the one thing I will say. Once you justify the Sebbie, it will be hard not to justify lots of semi-customs or customs. Hope your wallet is prepared.
  4. When Paxlovid first got temporary approval, the urgent care would not prescribe it to me due to having high BP. Luckily I didn't need it, as that time it turned out to be a big nothing burger (my third time).
  5. Ditch Tapa. Use browser. Navigate to surlyhorns.com. tapa is early 2000s garbage.
  6. Serviced restored for me in Austin.
  7. Yeah, I had that realization after I hit submit. Of Course the billing system is up. I'd imagine that would work after an EMP.
  8. I'm surprised their billing system has not crashed. First thing I checked when I got to the office this morning was that I was paid up. Everyone I have talked to has done the same.
  9. Not for me. All my Wifi cams and home network are reachable remotely for me.
  10. goddamnit. well done.
  11. We should have done that. But I'm cheap, so I would take it apart and fix it, once or twice a year. Finally had something break that I couldn't fix myself. Jumped on the opportunity to replace.
  12. We just replaced our 7 year old Samsung from hell. I'll never buy one again. Seems my research said LG or GE. We went with a GE Profile my wife fell in love with.
  13. @Anton Chigurh to the white courtesy phone. Also @blacklab to the white courtesy phone. Never owned a Cruiser, but if it's the 4.0 V6 (I'm pretty sure it is) then really all you need to worry about is how well it was taken care of. Those Motors are pretty damn bulletproof if taken care of. Miss mine from my 11 Taco.
  14. San Marcos (/ˌsæn ˈmɑːrkəs/) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Marcos,_Texas
  15. I'm doing some Pork belly burnt ends and smoked wings.

  17. This is also what I'm most excited for. Will be interesting to see.
  18. I would be a big fat blob, that is always exhausted if not for mine. Lost 30 pounds in the last 7 months. Also, the bloodox data while sleeping is what finally convinced me to do a sleep study and get diagnosed with apnea. This does not even mention all the other smart watch features that you get to go along with your iPhone. I don't have to pull my phone out of my pocket for 80% of the notifications I get. Buy an old stock model. Buy Refurb. Buy used if you are cheap.
