  1. This is where I'm at. This is going to be a very bad team.
  2. Just to piss in the Kool-Aid a little bit, I checked last year's fall practice thread and on August 5, 2024, Bobby predicted that Amari Niblack would be the highest drafted of that year's transfers and that he "looks like a major weapon" in camp. Allen Iverson said it best, we're talkin' bout practice. I think the likelihood is that after the season we'll look back on a couple of these guys and say actually they didn't do shit for us. That's fine. I'd say we really only NEED Endries, 2-3 of the DTs, and the K/P to hit.
  3. Wonder if Micah thought to call his agent this time
  4. I have a feeling that white t-shirt might be pretty good looking, it's just a weird pic. Blondie looks like literally every suburban mom in the state. I'd bet a dollar that she drives a Tahoe and has a bedazzled phone case.
  5. Bold of you to assume we'll be alive in 2033.
  6. Isn't there major moral hazard for all these companies to give Trump what he wants? All a president has to do is threaten them with tariffs and they'll give him financial contributions, political victories, and possibly, depending on who you ask, new investments in the U.S. What is the incentive for any future president to not make the same demands? As far as I can remember, Apple has never very publicly given a president a statue for keeping his nose out of their business.
  7. I think furry culture is as weird as the next guy, but if my "official hotel" was warning people about my presence and I'm not breaking any rules or being a nuisance, I'd be fucking pissed. Let people do what they fucking like.
  8. Beautiful pics. Whatever billionaire oligarch buys that place from the people of the United States for pennies on the dollar is really gonna enjoy it.
  9. Supposedly AD has been the star of Colts camp this year. The Athletic had a write up on him today.
  10. Does it have to be someone in their last year of eligibility? Like if Neto plays well but returns, do we have to repossess his award? I don't want things to get awkward. Not many obvious candidates this year for the reasons that ctj mentioned. I'm already hyped for the 2027 Ryan Niblett Gaskamp, though.
  11. Maybe they were just thinking about how much everything was costing them.
  12. I don't disagree and I'm not a heavy Vegas visitor, but it feels like people have been complaining about being nickel-and-dimed since at least the 90s. Domestically, they can probably live off of conferences, bachelorette parties, and the Instagram-obsessed (for whom high prices are a feature, not a bug) forever. I think it's the drop in international travel that's really hurting them.
  13. I was browsing around looking for possible OT targets and just noticed that Baylor has 4 guys named Jamarion in their class
  14. Yep, that was in the depths of their "not-even-trying-to-win" era. Even Altuve had a sophomore slump that year. I remember they had deals where you could get a ticket, a hot dog, and a Coke for like $9 or something ridiculous. Sit anywhere you like, because there'd only be 9,000 people in the stadium.
  15. Bobby brings him up constantly, so he must think that Lee is an actual possibility. I remain skeptical personally - Michigan really wants to hold on to him. I think under past staffs or even in previous years, I'd be on this thread worried about backup plans (not saying you sound worried). The loss of Cojoe really underscores our need for depth at OT. At this point though, I'm pretty comfortable assuming that 1) this staff won't leave any stones unturned, and 2) even people like Bobby won't hear much about said unturned stones until the staff feels OK with that news being public.
  16. This one sticks out to me, since I was there: https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/HOU/HOU201304020.shtml Yu perfect through 8 2/3 in Houston. Single by Marwin Gonzalez right up the middle broke it up.
  17. Honestly a little rougher than I would've thought. There might only end up being 1 guy that's more than just a mid- or late-round dart throw for the NFL. Probably the last good chances are for Guilbeau to blow up this year, or Neto to have a very good next two years. I assume that Campbell is what he is at this point.
  18. It's always kinda funny watching the true Cowboys homers respond to this stuff with "b-b-but the Eagles will be in total cap hell 2 years from now!!!!!!!! Just watch!!!!!!!11". ...no they won't. They'll restructure their way out of the problem like any competent front office with a brain. Absolute worst case scenario, they eat cap shit for a year or two then start all over again. Also, they're championship contenders NOW, so who gives a fuck what the cap looks like in a few years?
  19. Did they ever say what was/is up with Campbell and Wingo? Just hungover? Have they been back out there?
  20. Only taking 3 OL in 2024 was a fuck up, IMO. Looking at our offer list for that cycle, I think the other guy we wanted was DeAndre Carter out of CA that ended up at Auburn. Don't remember what the story was there. Needs to be 4+ bodies every year like clockwork, ideally 5 if they can find good ones.
  21. Pederson and Jung, murderers' row
