  1. 1 box JIFFY corn muffin mix 1 egg 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup creamed corn 1 lb ground beef 1 onion, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp salt (I added more) 1 tsp. cumin (I added more) 1 tsp. chili powder (I added more) 10 oz can red enchiladas sauce (divided) cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey jack cheese, shredded small handful cilantro leaves, chopped Fresh jalapeño Mix jiffy mix, egg, creamed corn, sour cream and put in greased baking dish for 20 min. Meanwhile, brown beef with all the diced onion and salt to sweat the onions. Drain beef, then add garlic first, then put back beef and add cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper. Poke holes in the cornbread when it’s done and pour half a cup or so of enchilada sauce (just kinda cover it), then add beef mixture. Cover with cheese and more enchilada sauce, too with jalapeños and bake for 15-20 min in 400 degree oven. also, money shot:
  2. Tamale Pie has now entered my winter rotation... except it seems like they should call it enchilada casserole instead. Either way, slammed hard.
  3. Gives new meaning to the term “fire crotch”
  4. Cliffs? Did not stay up to date last night.
  5. They were all laughing/looking at Urban before this segment started
  6. Alliteration is more important than facts.
  7. Username DEFINITELY checks out
  8. Also the brother of Gonzalo’s in Longview. Closed a few years ago but was a staple for me growing up.
  9. Looks like west campus is going to be dried up for a while
  10. Btw, what actually is this flavor? I bought a bag at the store last week along with the jalapeño, mistaking them for the spicy crawtator. I can’t quite figure it but but it seems like it’s some sort of strange bbq flavor.
  11. A buddy of mine is at Pluckers during his Craig Way show... if that doesn’t look like a dude that’s tired and beat down about to be fired (and knows it) I don’t know what does.
  12. Someone needs to start a $9.95 site using exclusively Surly as their “source”. This board has had this thing pegged... or shall I say “fisted”, for a while.
  13. I mean she’s got a nice bod but that’s an old looking 26...
  14. Kept it simple with some bacon and cheddar grilled cheese with some tomato soup tonight. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to eat a regular grilled cheese again.
  15. Lolwut? Give me some of what you’re smoking. Love Sams toughness and his story, but he is lacking a lot.

  18. This guy fucking blows chunks. Had anyone ever seen him wrap up on a tackle? Most overrated player on our team the last two years.
  19. Lentil soup in this biotch tonight. I think next time I’ll add some spinach towards the end like I’ve had at some Italian restaurants, but for a first effort this was very good.
  20. Yep, this is basically what I do. Gotta take into account that he’s in SEC regional bbq territory, and adjust accordingly. If nothing else his recipes are a great starting point.
  21. https://howtobbqright.com I don’t know if this dudes website has ever been mentioned on here, but he has been a pretty good resource for me after having gotten my vision grill a few months ago. He’s got videos to go along with his recipes so you can see each step of the way, also has videos with helpful tips, as well as recipes for all different types of smokers. He breaks things down and makes it super easy to follow, especially for meat smoking novices. Anyway, used his smoked pork loin recipe, but injected it with Tony’s instead of brining. It was damn delicious.
  22. This is good information to know. Gracias.
  23. Why not just door dash/Uber eats? Both have plenty of free delivery options.
