  1. Quite the conundrum Tigersnake’s got himself in here. He assuredly saved his family’s gathering and made everyone happy while putting minimal stress on himself…and let’s be honest, the first few briskets you do, especially if you’re cooking them for other people, are stressful as hell. But boy did he sure blow it with his internet friends.
  2. We are abusing this dude
  3. Watching without sound, what just happened there?
  4. Damn, I didn’t even think about city market. Coming back to Houston up the coast but I will need make that a stop when I go to San Antonio next month.
  5. Had to travel from Houston to Laredo today and was very disappointed to learn that Burnt Bean is only open Thu-Sun.
  6. Thank god the cheese pics are done
  7. i saw this and another short video where he was actually applying his s&p and it really put into perspective how much I was under seasoning
  8. Season with more salt and pepper than you think you’d need - something i learned recently that helps a lot. This is a ballsy move on a first brisket, good luck!
  9. Where are yall going in Houston? Everywhere still seems pretty expensive
  10. Okay helo
  11. Anyone have some recs for an anniversary dinner spot? 10 years so I don’t mind getting a little swanky but I’d want to keep it somewhat reasonable. Excellent service and a nice wine list are important to me, but I’m pretty much open to any type of cuisine.
  12. That stupid bitch Nico and fat fuck bitch tits Dumont killed my fandom if this team. Will never ever root for them again, snd I tuned in late just to see how many points Luka dragged his nuts on this shit ass team for. I wish I had a more eloquent way to talk shit about Nico but stupid bitch is all he deserves.
  13. Whoever said this pitcher is the most Georgia looking dude ever is right. That is one ugly son of a bitch.
  14. I guess I did but I’d have to go back and look tbh. I know they will be monitoring my generator and coming out once a year to service it so sounds like I did lol
  15. 5w20 (maybe it was 30) full synthetic is what my installer told me today. He said the most important thing was that it was the full synthetic.
  16. Well, feels good to have that taken care of before storm season. Thanks @Hate for the installer rec.
  17. I do love the 3:10 start time
  18. The Kroger and HEB near me both had them in abundance. Didn’t do a ton of trimming in these. One cooking method I saw after that I think would be good is to braise them for an hour or two after smoking to break down the collagen even further. It wasn’t an issue while it was still warm, but after it cooled off and resettled it firmed back up a lot.
  19. I had to go back like 10 pages but I think Rolando’s is what I was thinking of. But taquitos west ave looks damn good too. Thanks.
  20. I am looking for some recs to help fill out a weekend. My wife and I will be there for our anniversary, so mostly looking for some fun activities and some restaurants. Particularly, looking for your best Mexican/taco spot for lunch and some spots for dinner. Based on what everyone says I imagine we will end up at the pearl area at some point but walkable from river walk is preferable. what is the taco spot that gets posted here frequently that appears to have the most beautiful tacos I’ve ever seen? Someone knows what I’m talking about.
  21. Well, it’s Miller time.
  22. It’s called a microwave
  23. Well they actually made the tournament
