  1. There should be a line about 3 or 4 feet behind the baseline that you can’t stand behind in a serve return.
  2. Thiem comes back to win in 5. I like the Z’s style of play and that he’s willing to come to net at times. Banging away at the baseline is killing the sport.
  3. So the HS and college kids aren’t enjoying late nights in the pool with their boy friends/girl friends anymore? What a shame.
  4. Just finished the series. Even with the loose ends it was a great series. So many times I wanted Elizabeth to die a horrible death even if she has a perfect ass. Rather than ending it during the DC summit, I wanted them to deal more with the post Cold War break up of the Soviet Union. With a different actress, they should make a sequel with Paige continuing the parent's tradition as an illegal operating in the DC area post summit and continuing into the early 90's. She would have extensive plastic surgery so no one can recognize her. She would be a kinder and gentler version of her mother as she pursues her social justice agenda.
  5. And 007’s wife in OHMSS who dies at the end. “We have all the time in the world . . . “
  6. If you have one TV, maybe two, you are probably right. If you had the Direct TV and five TVs connected with the Genie I don’t see it ever getting close to the $350 per month I was paying to Direct TV.
  7. I had a cartridge filter for my pool at my previous home and on the few occasions I thought I needed to drain water I used an inexpensive submersible pump connected to a garden hose.
  8. When you hit them on the sweet spot, which is about the size of a dime, I bet it feels like butter.
  9. Just posting it again. My broker (n/k/a private wealth manager) talked me off the ledge twice--when the market was around the bottom and after it rebounded about 20% from the bottom, and I'm glad he did. There is a huge risk being out of the market. I'm mainly talking about retirement funds that you will not touch in 5+ years.
  10. It was hard to watch Klijsters last night. She needs to eat less.
  11. Best pig in a blanket in town.

  13. Weikel’s pigs in a blanket are inferior to Hruska’s pigs in a blanket. But Weikel’s kolaches are better than Hruska’s kolaches.
  14. Watching the Weather Channel and the reading the most current forecast from the National Weather Service/Hurricane center you wonder what TWC is smoking. People, ignore TwC and read the updates at weather.gov.
  15. Several are open. Three of the restaurants in the Understory below the new BofA building are open. Several places below Pennzoil Place are open. Otto’s and the Tex-mex restaurant below Chase Tower are open and several places under the Esperson Buildings are open. I’ve been going to my office every day since around early May.
  16. Lurch is spot on. Speaking for myself, I like to cook around 300 to save time. I get good results in less time than at 225.
  17. something has to be posted to try to get that fat ass off the screen on the Tapa thread list. Hope this does it.

  19. Except for the "you people are sad" part, this was my experience as well. That said, if it's true, his greatest sin is not paying payroll and/or sales taxes. That fucks us all. As for screwing investors around, I can't imagine ever investing (and there's a big difference whether it was a loan or an equity investment) in a restaurant business that is basically a guy and a BBQ pit--which perhaps he didn't even own. That's a big buyer beware. Doesn't excuse actual fraud, however.
  20. Mine is in our master closet on the second floor. It wasn’t too difficult for the xfinity installer to snake the cable in from my attic into the box. I assume someone could do the same with an HD antenna coax coming in from the attic at not too great of cost. There may DIY videos that show you how. I’ve never done it.
  21. This is similar to mine. I have ethernet and coax basically throughout the house. You just need to find out how the incoming signal ties into the junction box in your closet. In my case, for internet, the xfinity installer just connected the incoming line at the junction box to the xfinity modem. I then connected the 8 or so ethernet cables that are connected to tvs and other devices in my home to a switch that is connected to the modem. I could do something similar with the coax cables. I could install an HD antenna and run it to the incoming signal female connection at the box. Each room in my house has a female coax connector.
