  1. If only you could go back in time and just let go of her and slip away into that mass of humanity. Like Andy Dufrense, wading through shit and coming out on the other side.
  2. Flipped over to the ou game earlier, saw Gabriel slide a couple of times. It seems like he waits until he's in a tight crowd to slide, maybe that's just due to the camera angle though. They need to make the rule that these QBs can only slide when there's no one within 5 yards or so. You either give up sooner or you take a hit.
  3. I have no hate for ISU but they've been in that mode for much of the last 90 years.
  4. What was really fucked up is seeing that pic of Kristofferson and Jerry that was taken just a week or so ago and realizing that Kristofferson is only one year younger. Not sure how I didn't realize that.
  5. Why does it cost $300k to dig out a well? We have posters on this very board that are currently digging holes in the ground for free!

    6 word stories

Limp mullet, limp arm, limp home.
  7. A high school buddy of mine attended Collin County Community College, so this hits close to home.
  8. It used to vary, so I assume it still does. ou was always the highest priced game. The non-con dregs were the cheapest.
  9. There's talk that he was supposed to start the game but had an allergic reaction right before kickoff. To what, I don't know. Ate some expired bags of dicks?
  10. When I was in preschool, I would watch Batman with Adam West and think that I could climb inside the tv and help Batman catch the bad guys. I just couldn't figure out how to get the cover off of the tv. I also thought the guys that got killed in westerns were guys from prison that were gonna be killed regardless. My folks were staining a fence once and I really wanted to help. Mom said no, if I got the stuff on my hand, it would eat away my flesh and I would just have a skeleton hand. I ran like hell away from them and into the house. I believed that shit for years, until a kid a school said my folks really just wanted me to GTFO and not make a mess.
  11. Does it come with a sex tent?
  12. Sounds like a prescription for...MURDER!!!
  13. Hey, new car woman! Shitty truck man! We like to fight, just as much as we can! A new car is fine but holy fuck, There's too much life in this shitty ol' truck Just too much life in this shitty ol' truck
  14. I'm scared that the Panthers will fire Ruhle and ou will immediately can Venables and snatch Ruhle up.
  15. Tech WR pushed off on his TD. Looks like they're gonna let both teams play.
  16. I saw on twitter that Smith has a shoulder injury. It's twitter, so grain of salt, etc.
  17. The Michigan RB coach (former player Mike Hart) just had some kind of medical emergency on the sidelines. Scary shit. They wheeled him off on a gurney, he seemed like he didn't know where he was or what's happening. The RBs were crying and both teams seemed a bit freaked out.
  18. Thie first thing in that video is a fat chick that exclaims "I love whales!". I bet you do, honey.
  19. As a SF fan, he's right where he should be. He runs hot and cold.

    London

I'm heading to London next month, we'll be there for 10 days. I've been several times but my last was 35 years ago. I don't need any rec's for food or attractions, really. Just some basic Euro travel tips. Dumb question amnesty, please. Passports: I hear 2 schools of thought on this. Half of people say "Never carry your passport on you! If you get mugged or pickpocketed, you're screwed! Leave it safely at your hotel." The other half says "Always carry it! Your hotel room could get robbed!". I know some places like Italy require that you have in on you at all times but the UK doesn't. I was gonna carry it but I thought I'd ask. Money: I've read that the UK is pretty much "tap and pay" across the board, not much need for cash. But I thought I'd get some just in case. What's a good amount to have on hand? I've also read that the airport is a poor choice to get cash, as they charge higher rates. Should I go to a currency exchange place in town? (Are those still a thing like they were in 1985?) The Tube: When we would go to London in the stone age, we'd get a 3 day tube pass and it was great. Do we really need the tube with Uber and the like? For a longer day trip out of town, I'd def take a train. Out of Town stuff: Is there a day trip not too terribly far from London that's worth going to? Don't care about Stonehenge. I'm thinking Canterbury or Bath. I'd like to go to York but that might be a bit far. Paris: We're going to take the Eurostar to Paris for a day. Any particular day that's better than others? I've been there before but again, it was a long time ago. Any places to avoid?
  21. I recently went to look for some shoes at the outlet mall. They have all the stock on the floor but they didn't have the shoe I wanted in my size, which is 11.5. I know this for sure because I asked an employee. As I'm looking, my wife exclaims "There's a 12!!!", like she found a $100 bill or something. I said I don't wear a 12 so why make a scene? She storms away in a huff. Fast forward to today, it happened again "They have a 12!". I said why do you do this? She said "well maybe having a 12 means they have an 11.5." They didn't.
  22. My wife put some blue masking tape on the wall, which indicates how far in she is, and so she won't pull in too far and hit something. Right next to that tape is a fist-sized hole in the wall that was put there over the last 9 years of her opening her door and hitting the wall.
  23. We had a bad tornado hit the OKC metro in 2013. I called my dad to see when he was coming to the shelter at my sister's house (less than 1 mile from his house), he said he wasn't going. "If it takes me, it takes me." I didn't bother arguing.
